Its doing nothing for his creditibility. it was bad enough they almost had him lose the title in his first defence against lawler.'"
But there's already the story there. Hopefully it'll end with Lawler smacking Cole.

| The 2/21/11 promo - Looked a lot like a WWE debut for Sting to me.
If so they've really gone all out to screw TNA over in the last month.

The way they built Jerry up before the ladder match, the Legend, the former World Champion who'd never had a shot at WWE gold built him up in such a way to say, yes he is old, yes he's a part time wrestler but he has one last run in him and has all the experience in the world in which to beat the young upstart champion. I agree with this program and agree with Lawler as the #1 contender. Because he will make the Miz in this program.

100% agree with you there. Had Sting written all over it, even the background music.

Or just showing what weak foundations TNA is built on. Any of their top guys is a phone call from WWE away from walking out.

| Unfortunately scrap the last post - it now appears the promo refers to the return of the Undertaker. Which although something many are waiting for it would be a let down considering everyone know it was coming prior to Wrestlemania.
Still hopeful that Sting may wrestle a one off match for WWE sometime, hopefully against Taker.

No disrespect to TNA but it's not worth £40-£50 a month IMO.

| The rumour is Sting HAS signed a 1 year deal with WWE and is due to be in next years HoF.
When I first saw the promos on Raw, I just assumed it would be the return of taker. But that may not be the case

Sorry to be negative, but imagine how much bigger it would have been 10 years ago when they bought WCW and tried to do the invasion angle....

| Nash, Booker T and Sting cost TNA a lot of money when they were around, and they didn't really do house shows or tours plus they got a reduced TV and PPV schedule. Considering those high costs they didn't really draw ratings, PPV buys or crowds. WWE will just put them all on legends contracts, I don't expect them to wrestle much. Nash is 51, Sting 52 and both have been affected by injuries.
I'd prefer for TNA to build the home grown talent they currently have, bring in new indy talent and pick up some releases they can do well with, like they have done with Anderson, Pope, Kazarian, Matt Morgan, Brian Kendrick, Shannon Moore for example.
Christopher Daniels is back with TNA wrestling as "Suicide" as to not conflict with his ROH contract, ROH have allowed him to take the booking.

Oh its without question a good thing for TNA that Nash, Booker and possibly Sting are WWE guys - they need to focus on TNA's younger guys to build a unique product and continue the upturn in ratings.
Like I said I hope Sting has a short well overdue WWE run.
4 options for the big 2/21/11 promo -
1. Sting
2. Undertaker
3. Awesome Kong
4. WWE are messing with people's heads and its some new developmental guy from FCW.
