Was that included in the figures? I heard City's "98m" loss didn't include the summer spending. Do the United books published include the Ronaldo sale, Valencia signing etc? |

I'd guess at Madrid being more likely than Barça.
1-seemingly bottomless pit of money.
2-rumours that this will be Raul's last season of first team football at the Bernabeu.
3-Van Nistelrooy on his way and Higuain being linked with a move away despite him playing brilliantly of late (currently injured however). |

it's just marca talk - and Rooney hasn't endlessly talked 'of dreaming of playing in the white of real' but it would be interesting to see what happened if it happened, can't imagine SAF being thrilled. |

Yes and I don't think for one minute Rooney would choose to leave United but the figures that keep appearing in the press are starting to get worrying.

To be fair he was told for 18 months he was getting a contract but nothing was offered. As someone summed it up on redissue, it was like a scrote from Wythenshawe having a top of the range stereo on one of them 30 day trials. despite knowing he would never be able to afford to buy it. The trial ran out and it gets taken back and replaced by a knackered second hand Sony tape deck.
