seems a bit rushed this transfer? barry so called wanted to play for a team that plays in c.l and wants to join liverpoo for summat like £18m did'nt get his wish but then sign's for a club that is [ihoping[/i to get into europe(i would'nt commit and say c.l yet) for £12m! how has his value gone down so much? i suspect he's got a huge signing on fee or some other huge incentive to join man city

I think his contract runs out fairly soon so maybe that could be why? Either way he will be getting paid a boat load

what does'nt make sense is why l.f.c have not pursued him after all the fuss about him wanting to join them? is it:



1. villa did'nt want to sell to l.f.c?

I was told a few months ago that Alonso would definatly be leaving the club in the summer apparently him and Gerarred had a bust up and havn't spoken since which also put a strain on his relationship with Beneath-us. Was also told at the time that there would be exits in the backroom staff in the close season.

I dont know about the first point but the second wouldnt suprise me i guess at the end of the day money talks and im sure the owners of Man City could pay him half a million a week if they wanted although i reckon he will be getting around 100k a week
