It was technically awful but was always entertaining and fair play to both of them for lasting the full 12 rounds. I couldn't see it lasting more than 6 after the first 3 when they were both puffing and panting!

I was actually quite impressed with Fury....He made good use of his attributes and always kept himself busy, which is important at Heavyweight.
I would like to see him work with a top class trainer though, as there is plenty of potential to work with....A good jab, quickish hands, decent chin.
As for Chisora, its scary to think that he was going to share a ring with Klitchscko.....He was hopeless and obviously under-estimated Fury. However, his talents are so limited, even fully prepared he would have ended up losing last night.

I agree, barring the odd moment Fury dominated the fight. He's certainly not the finished article. I'd like to see him go to America for some better training and take on the best they have to offer in a few fights before having a crack at the world titles, time is definitely on his side.
Chisora was very disappointing, looked overweight and very one dimensional, looking to land the same overhand right to the point of tedium.

| I have to disagree about Fury, thought he was crap. His combinations had as much power in some of them that I could throw and Im no boxer. Merely tapping Chisora. That said he did enough to win the fight, but wasnt overly impressed with either fighter to say they were both unbeaten.
P.S. Channel 5's broadcasting... utter tosh. 1st round, lets go to Furys corner and listen in on what his camp have to say, cue an ad break !!

| Fury needs to develop his foot work. He can't get any decent power from his punches becasue his feet are never in the right place. The fight its self wasn't a classic but it was a good tear up and to be fair the 2nd round was one of the most exciting rounds I've seen in a HW fight in a long time.

Exactly.....This is what I meant by Fury needing to go off and work at his technique.....He definitely has the tools and seems to have a heart too, it just needs harnessing the correct way.
Saying that, if I was Fury I'd be taking my time until the Ukranians are retired before I thought about a World title...

Would actually be a good fight for Fury......Whatever people think of Harrison, he would be a decent name to have on your CV at this point of Fury's career, plus it would continue to keep him in the public's attention, slowly building his reputation.
Add to that, its an almost surefire win....Harrison would be petrified of all the mauling and wrestling that Fury would give to him.....The fight would be pretty similar to last night's, Fury would either finish him late, or waltz an easy points win.

| Audley Harrison vs Tyson Fury = Audley Harrison
Audley Harrison vs Wladimir Klitschko = Audley Harrison
Then Audley Harrison has finally fulfilled his destiny!...

| Never saw this one coming...wonder if he will retract some of the stuff he said about him after he beat DeGale...
George Groves, the reigning British and Commonwealth super-middleweight Champion has left Hayemaker boxing to sign with promoter Frank Warren. Adam Booth will continue to train the 23-year-old.

Its an odd one from both sides...Mind you, Warren can now arrange the Groves-DeGale re-match with little interference, and make a huge stack of cash at the same time.
Its pretty obvious that one of the two fighters will fight for and, if Warren's plan goes correctly, win a World Title...The re-match will then become a HUGE fight, not just nationally, but internationally too.

| Hardly a surprise given the fact that Groves was having to work in a gym in Blackpool (he trained Charlie Adam) just to get by.
Haye's career is well and truly in this 5hitter now.

| Very strange one for Groves, but hopefully Warren will provide him with the right fights.
