Could be said of many teams if they'd had to play with 10 men. Where would United have finished in the league if Ronaldo's goals had been stripped out?

In his record season? 5th, according to soccerbot.com.
To a certain extent, such a stat does have limited meaning, but it's not entirely pointless. The key thing is the ability to replace those goals if the player is unavailable. Even in that prolific season for United, Ronaldo accounted for less than 39% of their goals, compared to Suarez providing a shade over 57% of Liverpool's so far this year. In those terms, Liverpool are currently only behind Sunderland and Newcastle with their reliance on one goal source, and I would expect Pa Cisse to change that before too long.

Maybe they wanted to get back on with the game as they thought they could win it? Just a thought.

No, they went to Carragher and Gerrard. No one likes the Suaz, not even his teammates. He's a grub.

From all accounts Suarez's team mates seem to love him. I've read interviews, stories from the press and so on and he seems as popular a figure as any at the club.
The only problem between Suarez and his team mates is the gulf in ability. People can't stand him but he's a truly brilliant player, if he had better team mates he'd be so much better as well IMO.

He's no Phil Neville that's for sure.

And then he went and pulled his own hair. I'm sure he bit his lip too.

What a complete and utter idiot.
Football just needs to tell Herbert to do one. He's a complete fool and only using football to make a name for himself. The police getting involved in the John Terry case was the biggest hindrance to the case from all sides. They have no place intervening in football matters when the worst they could have punished Terry with was a £2,000 fine. The police and CPS just wasted police time and public money getting involved in something they had no business getting involved in.

Peter Herbert is nothing more than a sanctimonious, self-promoting, chip-on-shoulder racist nitwit. Twice i've heard him interviewed on TalkSport in the past month, he's not done himself any favours, including saying a white players union would be akin to the BNP He is poison, pure and simple, and the sooner his name disappears from the footballing circus the better.
He also threatened to report Spurs to the Met Police if they didn't take action to stop their fans saying the word 'Yid' in chants.
