Agreed mate, he's worked a miracle with what he's had to work with and yet he's still be sacked. Almost halfway through the season and they're comfortably mid table something West Ham fans wish they could say. I know their recent results have been poor but they've played some good stuff too, I've warmed to Hughton he seemed to grow into the position and into a very competent manager. They claim to want a more experienced manager which seems just as bizarre as the sacking itself. |

Doesn't he have a house up there? I'm sure I remember him saying he kept his house and I'm pretty sure it's in the North East.
Would be a good appointment, although I'm unsure if he's what they need in their current situation. |

As much as I like Hughton, if we replace him with Jol then it would be a good decision by Ashley. Ruthless, yes, but it would be an upgrade. If it's Pardew, as I've been led to believe has been lined up for the last month, then it will be an absolute disgrace.
Anyway, thanks for everything Chris. Will never forget the fun we had last season and what you've done for us this season too. A little disappointed he'd climbed into Paul Barron's car before I got chance to shake his hand today and I'll never forget the look of devastation on his face as he pulled away, he just looked like a broken man.
There's only one Chris Hughton.

You look at what Newcastle did last and where they are currently you have to wonder what more exactly Ashley wants? Hughton has every right to feel gutted, he has been dumped on from a great height.
