| Stunned Sheamus won the title.
As much as people dislike Cena, its ludicrous to put the belt on someone who - 1) has barely wrestled a match in the WWE and 2) hasn't got over with the fans in any shape or form given he's only been around a few months.

| It makes me wonder if there's someone Cena has refused to lose to, like when Austin refused to job to Triple H, so Mick Foley won the title, then lost it to Trips the next night.

He puts on the best match across all three shows every week, and TBH he is pretty much working with nobodies who are straight from developmental a lot of the time. '"
I think that's the point of him being on ECW. You need a guy who can make the young guys look good and help build them for the future.
It's a brave move putting the title on sheamus. but they built him well during the match and had cena sell the bump thru the table so it didn't look like a fluke. however, the after match commentary with the replay nearly killed the guy as they tried to make it look like cena had just been clumsy and fallen thru the table on his own

| Sheamus won't be champ long I don't think.
Hopefully Jericho will get a push on SD and defeat Batista at the Rumble.

| A lot of people think the Cena-Sheamus ending was botched, apparantly there was a table on the outside Sheamus could/should have gone through.

If it had been a botch, they would have switched the title back on RAW IMO. I havent seen the finish yet but even if there was a botch, it seems pretty silly to keep the strap on someone they had no intention of having it. A good 5 week Reign for Sheamus, title change at the Rumble me thinks.

Like you said, there is no one left for him on ECW, when you look at the roster, he has literally beaten everyone relevant, both face and heel. I read a report a few weeks ago that when Bryan Danielson debuts it will be on ECW, so hopefully that is very soon.'"
Many WWE superstars have stated that Christian, is second only to the late Eddie Guerro in terms of the whole package. He can put on a show wether it be technical or a match full of bumps and is always the first to put his hand up to put mid carders over. His mic skills are probably the best in american wrestling at the moment.

| A few points.
Isn't Sheamus Trips' Bag Carrier/gym buddy?
Anyway, it can be a good move to put the title on him. Cena-Orton-HHH main events have become stale, the 'E now has a big young Heel who will be around for years hopefully. Cena looks set to be be on 'the road to Wrestlemania', so hopefully Sheamus will be booked against fresher faces. Perhaps the 'E could push Swagger, Kofi, maybe even DiBiase for the run up to 'Mania. I was hoping that when Cena won the strap in the summer, we'd see the other heels pushed a bit more, but we didn't, we just had Orton-Cena continued.
Also, did anyone else notice that Christian had to walk Benjamin through the ladder match? He kept whispering the spots in his ear, very blatantly and looked to have to repeat them a few times. On one occasion, it looked as though Bejamin screwed up a spot when Christian was on the ladder; he seemed to stop and start and almost shouted the spot to Benjamin.
Obviously, anyone who watched TLC would've picked up on Striker's mare when he stated a)the IC belt hadn't changed hands in Texas for decades, despite Rey winning the strap at 'Mania in Houston and b) Sheamus is the first non-US born World Champ since Yokozuna... not taking into account, of course, Hart, Edge et al...
Speaking of the 'H' word, I really would not be suprised to see him back on WWE TV. I felt last year they were really teasing it, with HHH and Dreamer using the Sharpshooter as well as pushing the Hart Dynasty under that name, with Bret's music and the whole Pink and Black gimmick. Dennis Miller's suggestion on RAW would seem quite pointless if they weren't planning on using him and, of course, the internet rumours were abundant a few months back about it.
One final thing; I really didn't like the finish for the Taker-Batista match, but then, I suppose they need a reason for Taker to not kill Teddy Long.

| Anyone seen last night's Raw yet?
Given the low standards Raw has set for itself this year this one hit a new low. Matches were blink and you'll miss them short and had some of the worst finishes I've seen. Oh and just a few short weeks after there "legendary" 3 year feud ended the main event on Raw was Orton Vs Cena.
They need to drop this guest host gimmick. Or at least get in guest hosts who know the product

Couldn't agree more mate - it's completely insane and could actually be a career killer. If he flops as champ, where does he go from there?
Bring back the days where a guy comes in, gets plenty of wins and gradually, slowly works through the belts before competing for one of the big two a couple years later. Just no patience with WWE these days.
