| from Sporting LifeBlackburn boss Sam Allardyce makes two changes from the side beaten by Stoke last weekend as his side look to take a giant stride towards Barclays Premier League survival with victory over Wigan at Ewood Park. Allardyce drafts in Tugay and Vince Grella for Aaron Mokoena and Keith Andrews respectively and, with striking options still limited by injuries, there is a chance big defender Chris Samba could start again up front. Wigan boss Steve Bruce also makea two changes after his side's home drubbing by Arsenal last week. Charles N'Zogbia and Lee Cattermole replace Michael Brown and Mario Melchiot as the Latics look for their first ever top-flight win at Rovers.[/i

| Funny that United score 5 in a half and it's all down to a dodgy penalty that leads to a spurs capitulation , Liverpool score 4 against villa and it's football from another planet time.
And to think some people deny that a media bias towards Liverpool exists

Have a word with yourself, that yesterday wasn't even the worst decision to go against Spurs at OT, I remember a ball going 2 yards over the line not too many moons ago.
And as for not looking like scoring, since when has that had any effect on whether a team goes on to score. Christ, all the top teams have done that this season, "not looked like scoring" then gone on to do that. It's football, not the pools panel.
No he didn't. He may have got them a goal or should I say a chance for them to score a goal, but it was down to both teams what happened after that.
Again, get a bloody grip.
It happens, week in, week out. Some you win, some you lose. Jesus, you'd think you were the only team to have ever been wronged by a referee.
Quite easily I would imagine if you are mature and rational about it.
And when you say you turned the game off after the penno went in, I don't believe you. I think you should apologise to the rest of the forum for blatant lying'"
Couldn't agree more.

TBF the majority of Liverpool fans on here aren't moaning about the penalty. It's just Stirlingshire Saint (Spurs fan) who's more interested in looking at the referee's performance instead of his sides French style surrender.

Well shock, horror.
A Manchester United supporter agrees that Tottenham weren't hard done yesterday.
Surprise, surprise.
I'd love to have seen the reaction from Ferguson if that was at the other end of the field.

| Espanyol score!!! Luis Garcia after 3 mins and a good goal at that. De la Peña makes such a difference.
The Barcelona derby could survive for another year after all.

Get a half decent goalkeeper, defence and players who realise a game is 90 minutes long and not 45, and then, just then you might have a chance of doing something half decent in the League.

Fergie: "We were a little fortunate." That's after a replay which shows that maybe Gomes got a little bit of the ball. In real time it looks as though Carrick has knocked it past him before been brought down by Gomes. You see them given all the time.
Now if you wouldn't mind collecting your dummy from that huge ditch you've created, before going to bed like a good little boy ready for nursery tomorrow I'd be very grateful.

How was it an awful decision?
In the ONE, yes that's right ONE chance Webb had to see the incident before making a decision, it looks as though Carrick took it past him. Webb had to make the decision based upon what he saw in a matter of seconds.
