| Well we've started well 53-0.
Sadly (I feel sick) Lancs are 54-4 at Taunton.

| 65-0 at lunch - makes you wonder how a pitch can flatten out so much in the space of two days.

| Yorkshire 70/1, Rudolph out then immediately the umpires decide to take the teams off because of the rain.

95/3 now. I knew we'd make hard work of it.

| Yorkshire win by 5 wickets - we'll be 7 points behind Notts and probably 5 behind Somerset going into the last round of fixtures.

| Cracking win, shame Lancs can't make a fist of it against Somerset.

| These Yorkies seem to have very short memories. Who can forget when they were bowled out for 89 against Sussex in 2007 and lost by an innings and plenty?? Nothing to do with Lancashire being Sussex' main rivals that year was it??
Lancashire haven't batted anywhere near well enough for about 4 seasons now and we've recently lost to the 2 best teams in the CC all season. Whoever finishes top will deserve it. Maybe you shouldn't be blaming us when your only defeat, against Somerset, could end up losing you the title?!
Oh and congratulations on finishing above us for the first time in 10 years too

| I'd love it if Durham and Lancashire winning helps us to the title.
I've been to championship games against Durham a couple of times in the last few years and the bitterness towards Yorkshire from some of their supporters puts most comments you get from Lancastrian folk truly in the shade!

All set for a cracking final round of fixtures starting on Monday:
Durham v Somerset
Hants v Warks
Lancs v Notts
Yorks v Kent
(With Kent needing at least a high scoring draw, and almost certainly a win, to stay up.)

| I cannot wait to see what team Lancs decide to play against Notts on Monday. I expect a great seam attack including Gary Montgomery, Luke Proctor and hopefully Saj Mahmood. Add to that, no Glen Chapple and that should guarantee Notts 400+ inside 110.
Our batting this year has been woeful again so expect Notts to rip through us for under 200, as well.
As a Lancs member who's sick of being mediocre, I am disappointed after another season of "nearly but nowhere near good enough". Therefore in order to derive a piece of petty pleasure from a meaningless end of season game, I truly hope that we roll out the beach towels and lie down for Notts.
And I think we will.
