I think the rot had set in by then and it's difficult to turn round. I attended very few games during the Todd era so it's difficult for me to comment, but the style of football was not to many peoples tastes. |

No, but to say we plummeted after getting rid of him is clearly flawed, we were 1 point and 1 place above the relegation zone when he got the boot, having been in the top 4 at the end of October.
The plummet was well under way, and to be quite honest I'd rather spend my money watching us play football in the NE Counties League than whatever game it was Todd had us playing. |

| The mighty Gillingham sneak past Shrewsbury with a goal in the 91st minute in the League 2 play-off final. Congrats.
The Gills will now have the dubious pleasure of playing Leeds next season in League 1.  |

Thought they looked ok in the first half and to be fair the Shrews keeper really kept them in it...I believe he is on loan from WBA and on that show and the previous round at Bury he has a decent future ahead of him.

Gillingham better team first half, Shrews better second. Couldnt see the goal all too well, apparently wasnt a corner though in the first place.
Nevermind, fairplay to the Gills. Wont be going to Wembley again myself, had enough of the place.

No was not a corner but someone should tell Holt he is a striker and not get dragged to the wings so often. |

On what basis...I turned to the RU straight after so not sure what he did after but what Gillingham do in turning decent non league players into good league players deserves praise
