I just realised, everyone in the Corre has a different look and accent, and can see 3/4 of them getting a push. Nexus on the other hand are the B team IMO, with only Harris having a chance at a push outside of Punk.

Well there's a talent gap on SD. There's no credible top level heels.

Now, there's guys looking to push on like Del Rio. But with Edge currently a face, you've no one on the show who you can pair him off against.

Swagger has dropped down the list since dropping the belt.
Kane's out of the picture as they've just finished that feud and I don't think it did that well so it's unlikely WWE will be pushing to have a 2nd go with it.
Ziggler, well, if he wins the belt on Sunday I will be shocked. Given he's bland, generic and not brilliant on the mic the only way he seems to get any heat is because they've paired him up with Vicky Guerrero. Take her out of the equation and he's back to going round introducing himself to everyone.

So, you've got 3 guys who've been a heel group on Raw and ready to step into that vacuum. Pushing Barret as a contender is the sensible way to go as I think the group has a very similar dynamic to the original Four Horsemen.

thing is, this is even worse now when you consider how mismatched sd was to heels over faces.

Re-watched Beyond the Mat earlier. Haven't watched it in a while, but it's interesting to see the real backstage stuff with WWE.

It worked with HBK [Pairing with an older Valet]. Shawn was also pretty bland [On the Mic at least] and it seemed to work for him. Now granted he had 5 or 6 years working his way up with feuds with guys like Razor, Jeff Jarrett, Rick Martel etc but the old time philosiphy is that if a guy cant talk, get him a manager.

But there are no managers in WWE now. They were gotten rid of by Russo and replaced with bleach blonde bimbos with big knockers. Yes, they look nicer than Jim Cornette, however they sort of fail at getting any heat for their charges.

Apart from Vickie Guerrero, who has more heat than anybody in WWE.

Dixie Carter has announced that all TNA programming will start on Challenge TV from February. That makes iMPACT!, PPV's and Xplosion all available on Sky, Virgin and now Freeview. Being on Freeview will greatly help the ratings in the UK.

“TNA iMPACT!” will air on Tuesday night at 10pm, with PPV events showing on the Wednesday after US broadcast. Challenge TV will also show catch-up episodes of “TNA iMPACT!” for those who missed them during TNA’s brief period off air.

Great news that TNA is now on Freeview.

Having a product worth watching would help more.
