| Quote: MrPhilb "On top gear last week the had a portion on Ayrton Senna and it was stated he'd put you in a position where you'd either pull out of a manouvre or you'd crash into him. He was lauded and championed for this by the likes of Eddie Jordan.
Less than a week later Schumacher does it and Jordan and many others are describing it as the most dispicable act and his legacy will be tarnished because of it.'"
not even a close comparison feller......
Schumacher was battling for one point yet he saw fit to attempt to put a fellow driver and former team mate (that "helped" him to a championship or two) into a concrete wall at 190 mph
he has also done this on at least two other high profile occasions against Hill and villenueve.
at suzuka in 1990 everyone in the F1 world was expecting Senna to get revenge on Prost who had squeezed/turned in on him the previous year....
at least he nudged Prost into the safety of a big run off area.....

I am informed thank you and I suppose you think that no team orders were implemented when it was plainly obvious it was ?

| the way to win the F1 title in 2010 is to avoid Vettel crashing into you
Button and Webber both counting the cost of his "overtaking" manouvers

Yeah, he's certainly living up to his "baby Schu" nickname in recent races. Also he's had 7 out of 13 pole positions but only managed 2 victories from them which is not World Champion form.

Yes, Vettel's form this season is very reminiscent of Ayrton Senna in the 1985 season, as Senna got more pole positions and lead more racing laps than any of his competitors (including eventual champ Alain Prost) that year, yet could not convert these two statistics into wins. Vettel at present as good as he may be in qualifying and what undoubted talent he does have needs a lot more maturity and consistancy before launching a serious bid to become the champion that he may well become one day, perhaps not this year.

| Well, Red Bull got the champion they wanted by completing screwing up Webber's race with a strategy decision - well done to them. He was clearly the bait to get Alonso to jump on an early pit stop and Ferrari fell for it, dropping them both back into the midfield on one of the dullest circuits in the F1 calendar.
Hopefully Webber will tell them where they can stick their race seat over the winter and find himself a team who will treat him with a bit more respect and dignity for 2011.

Webber is still with Red Bull for next season.

| Vettel is a great "driver" but not a great "racer." He is very quick in qualifying and during races where he does not have to deal with overtaking. Hamilton and Alonso are probably more complete drivers, but clearly their cars were a level below the Red Bull.
Hamilton and Vettle were the two who deserved it the most this year. Hamiltons shocking DNF list this year and still in a position to win at the last race! That's impressive if you ask me.
