Never have I been in a more "evil" atmosphere at a Rugby League game.

34439.jpg winning like never before. decoys. mouse traps. chicken wings. lollie pops. shepperds. the crusher. grapples. big league. In 1935 The Dragon Slayers as they were known defeated Canterbury bulldogs 91-6, which is still the biggest win in the Club's History. In 1907, the St George district had a club in the Sydney rugby union competition. Interestingly, the team's area was referred to as the 'Illawarra suburbs'. A resolution to form a St George rugby league club was made at a local meeting held in early 1908, but the movement faltered and collapsed. St George, wearing the district colours of red and white, played in the NSWRL's Third Grade competition in 1910, and formed a President's Cup team in 1911. References were found at the time to district teams being called 'The Saints'.the perfect 11

| Quote: Asim "That whole thing was made even more surreal by a coach-load of Barnsley fans subsequently turning up at Valley Parade to support us in our next (must-win) game at home to Charlton a few days later
Aye,my abiding memory of that night was Mark Bright sneakily gesturing to us at the front of the Kop that we were going down and Kinsella hitting the bar with a thunderbolt in the last few minutes. Of course the QPR game was a formality as I placed a £5 bet that we would win 3-0 and walked away with £55. Sweet!

| Graeme West going for a 50 yard stroll at Elland Road in the Challenge Cup Semi-Final versus Hull KR back in 1985 before offloading to David Stephenson who sidestepped the KR full back to book our place at Wembley where we went on to beat Hull in a very memorable final, 28-24.
Oh, and coming back from 2-0 down against Gillingham in the Div2 play off final in 1999.

Wave upon wave of demented avengers march cheerfully out of obscurity into the dream: |
|
| Quote: keithcun "Mansell v Piquet at Silverstone in '87.
Mansell made up 29 seconds in 28 laps to catch and overtake Piquet with one of the best overtakes seen in F1 (a dummy to go outside at the end of Hangar and diving down the inside)
Quote: keithcun "that is still the greatest grand prix i have ever seen - was that the one when the fans invaded the circuit afterwards? mansell was a proper sporting hero'"
'"
I was going to say that one. There was a real buzz in the crowd as he chased Piquet down, breaking the lap record, lap after lap. I was a fair bit further round the circuit, somewhere near where Bridge corner is now, we wall went mad when he came past in the lead. I would also have his 1st ever win at Brands in 1985 as one on my faves.
Another favourite was London Monarchs V Barcelona Dragons at the Wembley World Bowl.
The Centenary IOM TT is my most recent.

Worst week of my life. United win the treble, City get promoted and Bolton lost the play-off final to Turnip's Watford
From a personal point of view, it has to be Leigh winning the NL1 Grand Final in 2004 to get promoted. Sod what happened the following season, I spent most of extra time bawling my eyes out as I knew ten years in the wilderness was over, for a season, at least.
Being at Hampden to see Hibs beat Kilmarnock 5-1 in the League Cup Final in 2007 was pretty special, mind.

The BullPen - Bradford Bulls Fansite: //bradfordbulls.wordpress.com/: |
|
| One of two for me.
Either the Bulls' GF win in 2005, from a seemingly impossible position in June. A truly memorable day.
Or maybe the ultimate, Molineux in May 1999. Wolves 2-3 Bradford.
