Speaking of which, you managed to dodge that bullet. He's due back on Monday thank fook! Richmond shouldn't be a pushover though. He pitched really well in his last start, giving up 1 run off 5 hits and only 1 walk through 8 innings. He also struck out 11. Sounds like a decent match-up.

Deja vu for Arroyo last night. I actually felt quite bad for him after we hit the 3rd HR.

Another quality start from Richmond and nice to see Dirk pitch the last 2 and give our BP a much needed break. Brooms out tonight? I'm not counting on it as we've another kid on the mound and we're not in the habit of sweeping teams. Would be nice (for us) though. Can't get too far back from the rampant Red Sox.

No sweep, thanks to an unsure rookie pitcher, some dodgy revlief play from League (no surprise there then) and one very determined Joey Votto. If we had to be undone by anyone, I'm glad it was Votto. After the very mature and candid interview he gave this week about his fight with depression, the lad deserves a break.
