Ricky has been really talking up his new training regime and I hoep its not just all talk, he has been going on about it for months now. I have not seen enough of the Yank to call the fight although should Hatton produce close to his best I fancy him to have enough to win. The danger is the other mans speed and the longer the fight goes on the more Hatton might be on the back foot. Should be a super fight though.

That seems to be the opinion of 99% of Hatton's fans... fingers crossed Hatton hasn't underestimated Malignaggi in the same way or else he will lose. It's going to be a very close fight, Malignaggi's speed will cause Hatton problems and also he's a lot lot tougher than his "bling bling" exterior suggests.
Malignaggi has never been knocked out in his career, even when his face was pretty much broken by Miguel Cotto, so he's proved he can take a hell of a lot of punishment. It's going to go the distance, hopefully Hatton will have enough in the tank to pick up enough points. |

Agree with all that mate, my POV came from the Ricky Hatton who was under Graham. If he has learnt to defend better then he shouldn't have many problems but it's whether the old dog has learnt new tricks so to speak. |
