I think Haye has the upper hand from all the media work. On Monday you could tell Klitschko was getting annoyed with Haye. That said, I don't think that'll count for much come fight night (in fact I'm sure it won't), Manny Steward is too clever to let his fighter get drawn in and move away from the game plan.



I agree the experience off fighting in a hostile environment for the Valuev fight will have benefited Haye but the actual fight won't have done in my opninion. There's no way he can box in a similar style because the judges won't strip Wlad of his belts unless Haye is the aggressor in this one (in my opinion). If Klitschko is allowed to take the centre of the ring and throw the jab (even if it is missing a lot of the time) I think the judges will go with him. I agree though his concentration in that fight was spot on for the full 12 rounds, and it'll need to be again (if it goes that far).

Granted Wlad has no experience of a fighter like Haye but the opposite is also true. Wlad is easily the best boxer Haye has ever fought (especially in the heavyweight division). It's not pretty to watch but it's effective for Wlad and it's not going to be a case of ducking under the jab and chinning him in the first for Haye!

That said, I really rate Booth and I think Haye will do it! I'll say by knock out but I'm not going to predict a round, depends how early (and how hard) he lands!

That's a good point you make there mate and I didn't think about it but the experience of fighting Valuev could really be invaluable. Away from home, as the underdog in a hostile environment and with majority of people being against him too. Also the experience Booth will have got and the things he'll have picked up will be important. Haye has to get beyond Klitschko's jab and although Haye won't stand back and allow himself to be jabbed like the other wasters Klitschko's fought lately, he doesn't want to let him control the fight with his winning jab he uses against everyone else. Also, there's noway Klitschko's been hit as hard as Haye will punch, if he can land a couple on his chin early on he could put him down. He wobbled Valuev and not many people thought he'd do that.

I just wonder what David Haye would say if he gets demolished by the big Ukrainian ? Maybe he'll be humble ?

I think that you have no choice to be after a beating as you can't say that he was lucky.

I think Haye will win by knockout either in the 8th, 9th or the 10th.

Go 3D squire, but be careful not to fall out of your chair due to ducking and diving.

I'm absolutely convinced Haye will win this fight whether it be by KO, stoppage or decision.

I may well be proven completely wrong, but after watching the press conferences and TV shows surrounding the fhe fight, there is serious look of determination and steel in Haye's eyes which I haven't seen in Klitchsko's. He looks like he's willing to do anything to win this fight, he looks really focussed, really well prepared and both fighter and trainer seem convinced the result will go one way.

On the other hand, Klitshcko looks more focussed on trying to be nice and I'm not convinced he looks like a winner at the moment. He looks really frustrated by some of Haye's antics and I'm not sure he'll be able to fight in his comfort zone because of his emotional attachment to the fight and Haye's style. Haye has pulled another stunt claiming that he spoke to Emmanual Steward (Wlad's trainer) and that he'd like to train him after he beat Wlad. A stunt maybe, but Steward said he thinks either fighter would win within the 1st 4 rounds because it'll be explosive, he didn't say Wlad would win in 4 rounds. Does that sound like a trainer that's convinced his fighter will win?

Agree with Blobbynator, Steward hasn't been as convincing as adam booth about his fighter!

I don't have a clue what's going to happen, I think it will be explosive but I can also see it being a bit more technical, with neither man wanting to make a mistake. Haye cannot let it go to the judges though so I'm hoping he brings the fireworks. If Haye connects with that right hand it will be good night nurse, but you can say the same the other way round. I think that Vlad's straight punches will be slipped by Haye, whereas Haye throws all the shots in the book, with power and accuracy.
