Still, what will probably be a top 5 pick for a guy who they were prepared to allow to test the FA market in 2010 is daylight robbery by the Pats IMO.

| I think they want to re-sign Wilfork ASAP, so dealt Seymour.
And lets be honest, Seymour wouldn't have willingly joined Oakland in a million years.
Still, Kelly, Seymour & Ellis are 3 parts of a very good D-Line. Aside from the Safeties, Oakland may have the best defence in the AFC West.
Shame our O-Line & Passing game are abysmal |

A very under-rated defence in Oakland.
Namdi Asmougha is an excellent corner back, and probably still under-rated by most people. Likewise Kirk Morrison.
However i think SD are slightly (only slightly) better with the rush they get from Merriman and Phillips. English will be a great player also. Cromartie is a good CB too.
As for safety isn't the guy you drafted in round two a safety, he was drafted way to early, but apparently is a monster hitter. Hows he coming along? |
