I think we're capable of certainly making the final, semi finals/final, certainly.

For me, It's a bit like I've experienced with Warrington this year, when you've got a top coach, he can guide through a competition. We couldn't win the league this year, but Smith managed to get the team to peak for a series of one offs. I'm certain that Capello has the same nous, that once we get out of the group, Capello will look to execute game plans and plot England a course to the final. It might not be pretty, but we have the right man in charge.

Talking of staying fit, Neville has gone off injured again, so Carrick is at centre half. Although he didn't do too bad, Neville was never gunna last the full game against their quick lads.

We've not been pressured at all, Giggs has been all over them, absolutely dominant. Anderson has once again controlled the midfield, and Scholes scored a cracker just on half time.

Apparantly, Vidic is only out with an illness so shouldn't be out too long, but it's worrying with Ferdinand, O'Shea, Rafael, Fabio, Evans, Vidic and now Neville all out injured.

Fair enough. Was just going off the BBC Sport live text thing. Hopefully it's a minor injury but Bullard leaving the pitch in tears says to me that it's a bad one, when you've had an injury like that you know if it's gone straight away.

Its apparently the opposite knee to last time so if anything it sounds worse to me, its bad enough having 1 bad knee nevermind 2

Anderson was awesome once again, him and Scholes controlled the game, and Giggs was fantastic.

A superb goal from Gibson, great build up play and quality finish, and two quality worked goals for Rooney and Valencia.

Looks as though its buissnes as usual at Hull City....Auditors called in to check the books,Emphatically getting thumped by Villa and Bullard injured again.......think City need to look hard at his medical as there was rumours his knee wasnt right and they took a gamble...looks as though it hasnt worked but some of the shops in Hull was glad they took a gamble and he likes to say how much he is on in the pubs....mind you...it backfired when a ex-FC prop took exception to his bragging...

Personally dont rate Green....too small and terrible decision making,Foster going backwards,age catching up with James and Kirkland is always injured but IMHO is the best of the lot.....maybe time to give Robinson another try although he hasnt cured his habit of getting beat by long distance efforts....his displays for Blackburn have been consistent...would take James as no2 and Kirkland as no3.
