I think that's a different thing. They've never been built up as much, although I agree that he criticism dealt out to O Shea (who is not world class but ensures united are never short of a defender/midfielder/goalkeeper/teaboy) and Fletcher (who after a less than sterling start has most united fans genuinely annoyed he isn't in the champions league final such is his quality) was totally uncalled for. But these are products of a youth system and the issue is with certain stupid fans thinking they know more than Fergie, not certain stupid fans believing too much hype then knocking a player as soon as they slightly stumble.

I'd have thought if any player sales were to be made, they would be to earn transfer funds and not to pay off debts. I think our financial situation this summer will be the same as others, 20m net to spend, sell players for the rest.

I think the Yanks want to sell, they're just trying to get as much as possible which is understandable, however potential suitors know they're under pressure from the banks so they can wait and wait until they lower the price. I think we'll be sold, hopefully this summer, but I don't think we'll ever be in a position to be selling our prized assets to clear debts.

Unfortunately,sentiment like that in the PL will bite you on the ar$e....he should have gone this year.....his record is awful.....you need a good overhaul of the team for next season...
