| What a great story that is.
Cleverly or Froch should be avoiding Hopkins like the plague IMO, he is jut so awkward, and in a complete no lose situation at his age.

| Hopkins might say some stupid things outside of the ring but he's a great entertainer in the ring as he even managed to do some press ups before the start of a round last night

| People have said George ran scared, their daft. Anybody that has seen Groves fight properly knows he loves a tear up and would go to toe to toe with anybody infront of him no matter who it was, but he did the smart thing and knew they could beat Degale on the back foot tormenting him and making him get annoyed which was the case Heard the Degale interview on the radio, made me laugh

| First off it wasn't a great fight by any means, it was interesting tactically but they both have their limitations technically and it's far too soon to be talking about stepping up for either fighter just yet. I scored it 115-114 to Groves too, surprised to be right given some of the recent judging over here. DeGale couldn't get near Groves early doors and hit a lot of air, Groves' smart counter-punching made him look silly and I gave Groves the first 5 rounds. DeGale was a lot better when Groves tired however and I thought the rounds DeGale did win were done so in a more convincing manner. Groves however had already built up a big lead for me and had done enough to hold on despite tiring at the end.
Difficult week for Cleverly but despite that he can't afford to leave his chin out like that against most others in the division - if Bellew had been able to land the way Kuziemski did he would still be looking for his teeth as I type. Hard to know where he should go next - too good for most in the division but seems a step below the real top operators, maybe Pascal is his best option.
Hopkins, pure class. A typical niggly, dirty, awkward and ugly fight from him but it's rare that he doesn't completely control a fight the way he wants to.

Summed up perfectly for me mate except I thought it was a really good fight.

Frank Warren should be embarrassed by his comments on here, it's laughable. In fact it's the complete opposite, I haven't seen anyone who though DeGale won the fight eventhough Warren claims he's yet to find anyone who thought Groves won it. The three judges did and they are the ones who count. I don't see how he can have any arguement with the result. He's desperate for a re match and as much as I don't see why Groves should take it, I'd love him to and beat DeGale again.

| Check out "adam booth legend" on that video site for his reaction when the decision is made.
Reckon the corners may have made the difference in this fight. Adam Booth is calm and composed, I didn't watch at home so didn't hear him this time, but at the Anderson fight his cornerwork was superb. DeGale needs to find himself a top trainer. He needs to make the most of this defeat, hopefully he has realised he's no Mayweather and has a huge amount of improvement left in him. It's upto him to have the desire to fulfil his potential

| Too many people when they fight Hopkins get sucked into fighting his fight and at his pace. You need to really up your punch out put and the pace. Calzaghe manged to do it (just) and Pascal did it early on in their first fight.
On a side note. Roy Jones' amazing career ends with a devastating KO.

Brutal, he looked unconscious, but still standing. The ref let the Russian get a couple more punches in than he really should have, probably because there was 10 seconds left in the final round.
For his own good he has to retire now.

| Amir Khan and Zab Judah have agreed to a unification fight. It will probably take place in July.

To be fair now that Bardley has ducked Khan, the only options available to him are Morales, Gurrero (who's never fought at 140), Alexander or Judah. Judah is probably the best of those at this point. It'll provide Khan with a test against an experienced opponant who's as quick as him with a good defense.
Can't wait for the Froch fight. I love the guy, wish there were more fighters with his attitude.

| I've always liked Froch since the days he was on the BBC. Got a very unorthodox style which I like to see. He keeps his left low but it allows him to ram that drill of a jab in from all sorts of weird angles. He is easy to hit but only if you can get in past his long reach. He struggles with good footwork, but Johnson is more a pressure fighter. I can actually see Froch taking him out later on, if he doesn't get silly and works behind that horrible jab like he did against Abraham.

| Good, solid win for Froch....Both men hard as nails....Hats off to both.
You have to love Froch that his best form of defence is to simply take it on the chin....His whole head must be made of granite....
He never gives himself the easiest of times in the ring, with his pretty unorthodox style, but he makes for good, close fights and good entertainment.....Can't wait for the Ward showdown now, and then hopefully a re-match with Kessler.
