16 Touchdowns and 4 Interceptions as rookie to go along with his running ability, there is no other player I'd rather have.

Not saying he hasn't been impressive, but there's no way I would call a rookie, who's only 11 games into his career, the best player in the NFL.

Come on Mark, sorry Wiz, you'd even have him over Aaron Rodgers who is 27 TD's, 6 INT's and a 107.3 passer rating?

Other pundits have said similar. I have never seen a player with so much poise, intelligence and field awareness at such a young age. It's good to see the Redskins finally get the franchise quarterback they've been looking for. Heath Shuler, Danny Weurffel, Jason Campbell and now finally RGIII. A steal in my eyes.

I would have him other Rodgers. I love Rodgers and think he is the best pure passer in the league, but you have to take into account the supporting cast Rodgers has at his disposal and the time he was given to learn the position behind a future hall of famer. Nobody in league history has been this good right away.

Jacksonville - Henne, Shorts and Blackmon to carry on from last week
Denver - Manning v Cassel
Seattle - Miami doesn't have weapons to trouble Seahawks defence
Atlanta - TB to come unstuck
Chargers - Not sure why, just a hunch
Arizona - Due a win and Bradford looking a bust
New Orleans - On the road at the dome too much for Kaepernick
Green Bay - Best team in the league right now, it will be close though.
Panthers - Eagles dressing room has gone

Exactly. I mean, how many playoff wins does he have? How many clutch performances? Come from behind wins? 4,000yd passing seasons? 400yd games? Career passer rating? The sample size is quite ridiculous. I mean, last year Cam Newton had an incredible debut season. Really incredible. Yet, I don't here people saying he's the best player in the NFL now. To proclaim somebody as the best player in the league, they have to do things like win, on a regular basis and when the pressure is on. He can potentially be great but I've seen enough couple-of-year careers to know that the sample size we have at the moment is minuscule.

Dan Marino is a great shout for being that good straight away, setting a passer rating record for a rookie as well as being the first rookie QB to start in a Pro Bowl. Oh, and they won their division too. Also, the following season he turned in an outstanding year, breaking the passing TD record at the same time. Marino stayed pretty good throughout his career too.

Next season we should start a pick-em league on here to see who knows what they're talking about,probably a little too late now to start this season.Looking at your picks this week Manning is up against Quinn not Cassel but it won't make any difference as he's no better.

Rodgers stomped out AGAIN. It's just too easily for Eli, to be fait to Conroy, he did say we're the only team he doesn't want to meet in the playoffs.

norv fails again for us. 4-7 record for us is not good enough at all. we struggle to make first downs. our punt team are on the field more lately than our offense. I picked up Kaepernick in my fantasy league which went ok. just wish I didnt pick up Hillman!! im now 6-6 so need to win my last 2 to make play offs.

Correct. Not because you beat us, but because you are the only team in the league who could stick with us (and potentially beat us) when we are playing close to our best (which we haven't at all this season).

I haven't watched the game yet but it is a pretty dissapointing result. Seems like we couldn't protect A-Rod or get to Eli. A big part of that will be injuries to key players but that is something we need to get past like we did in our SB year.

It was bad again wasn't it. The thing is, when you should be gutted giving up a 10 point lead in the 4th quarter against a team that could not do anything offensively, I'm just accepting it and I expected it after the 3rd quarter. Terrible 2nd half again. Rice's miracle play was a joke from the D and officials. He shouldn't've got close enough for it to be an issue, but the officials got the 1st down call wrong. Long term it will probably help, as our lack of an o line will likely see AJ out of the door as well as Norv. That is the biggest hole on this team. A quarterback running for his life every play is never going to win us a game.

I'm continued to be impressed with our D, they did enough to win the game. Unfortunately the o line did more than enough to lose it.
