I'd even have marked for Linda or Steph to come out as the new figurehead of RAW to revolt against the Dastardly Vinne Mac.

That was the up side, one of the bad sides was that WWE shares on the stock market went down because of people really believing Trump had bought RAW.

It's the commercial free aspect that bumped those ratings though as people wouldn't have been channel flicking.

Why was it commercial-free by the way? When I first read this I thought it was very worrying for them i.e. because advertising revenue (presumably) is a big source of income to them, or is there a logical explanation?

Can't believe Orton v HHH - how many times eh?!

aparently it was a test case to see if ratings levels staid up without the opportunity to go flicking during the 20 advert breaks they have on the us version of raw, if they saw a big enough difference they were considering doing it again in future.

like i say though, it was a good test case.
