How the guy can tip Howell III after capitulating on Sunday (and not for the first either). He's tipping a guy who plainly does not have the mentality to win tournaments. Surely even tipping e/w bets people should be looking to scoop the lot not backing him to be there in contention and limp to a 3rd or 4th place finish.

I guess thats why he isnt the main tip, but they still feel at 17.5/1 for a place its still worth a shot based on what they feel is his current form. Dunno! Don't get me started on e/w betting but the words bookies benefit come to mind (especially golf with 150 odd runners each week) but betting e/w on a person the tipster admits probably won't win (Jeremy Chapman in the Racing Post did similar last week) is not the way to go. Better to cut down the tips and go for wins.

Must say If i back a horse in a bad each-way race I like to know that the horse has a shot at the win as opposed to giving away half the bet (the win part) before we've even started.

Thought that was a very poor ride from Russell myself. As you say, was charging at the end, although wasn't jumping very well in the early stages do difficult to gain any momentum.

Ladbrokes, was a free bet. Can't see it been one minute, but after changing my mind with putting 50 on Higgins at 27/5 yesterday, I looked at it and thought "SOD IT, I'LL STICK TO MY GUNS"

When I'm done with University in the summer, hopefully I will have some proper money and won't be haggling for free bets on different betting websites
