| What a great week so far in the NFL.A ton of great games Jets/Dolphins,Titans/Lions,Raiders/Steelers,Redskins/Bengals and Texans/Broncos to name a few.
The only thing i want now is the real refs to come back as the weeks go on the defences seem to be making making more and more helmet shots on recievers. How the endzone ref didn't give a flag for the Heyward-Bey hit i'll never know as he was right next to it.Someones going to get seriously injured with the players taking more risks because the replacement refs aren't good enough.

| Anybody know if you can Sky + the BBC red button game? (or does it go on iplayer?).
Figures to be a really tough game. Seattle have a great defence and a decent offence. I'd hope our D could get at Wilson but his rushing ability concerns me if he can break from our pass rush. If we can get a win we will be on our way to a good first month despite a really tough schedule.

| If last nights officiating doesn't teach Goodell that they need the proper refs back at any costs he's an idiot and nothing will, never seen anything like it in my life! They were shocking all game for both teams, you know it's bad when even the commentators are taking the pish on national tv and 68,000 are chanting BULL[iSH[/iIT everytime they make a call
Still not sure the winning FG actually went through the posts...

It should be on iplayer buddy. I think it all depends on how well Seattle control the clock, they need to keep it out of A-Rod's hands as mcuh as possible. Do you think you can continue the great defensive play going that you displayed against the Bears or go back to being a turnstile?

| Jesus, San Diego were bad last night. The Flacons look very good in fairness, but I don't remember as poor a home performance as that since I've been following them closely - which is about 7-8 years. Not seen much reaction as I went striaght to bed in a sulk, but if any player is anything other than embarrassed they should be ashamed!
In the wider NFL, the Vikings hey? Flippin 'eck.

| The Vikings were very good yesterday. Although they weren't tearing up the ground they had more than enough to keep our defense guessing, giving Ponder time to hit his targets, which he did with some great throws too. The one-handed catch by, I think, the Vikings TE was brilliant. Offensively a couple of dropped passes like last week but Minnesota were head and shoulders better yesterday. Be interesting to hear Harbaugh at the press conferences today.

I think that gives us a little less credit than we deserved for that performance. Plenty of pressure from the defensive front, good coverage behind that really shut Rivers down.
Offensively, we're hot right now. Frankly I'm surprised we didn't score more points than we actually did.

Well at the start of the season, the previews I saw only one person picked them to get to the championship game but yeah maybe the wrong phrase, quietly going about business would be a better way to put it.

| Wow, methinks the Packers somehow got screwed there. Jennings clearly had it!

It is mate, but I was in a stinking mood! I thought you were great. I hope you do well this year now you've give us a whooping. I like the Falcons due to Ryan (he just seems like a sound bloke) and the Burner (with his SD connections).
The two plays that killed it for me were the Matthews fumble on the 5 yard line, then on the following ATL possesion the holding call on Bigby that negated a sack that would've had you punting from your endzone. Follow that up with your defensive pressure (our O Line is terrible, but you exposed it more than the Titans or the Raiders.....we have a UDFA starting at LT and the worst starting RT in the NFL) and Rivers trying to force it and you did a number on us.
In hindsight, you have the perfect offense for our defence. Gonzalez has been ripping up the Chargers for as long as I can remember, you have as good a WR starting pair as there is in the league and a good QB. Match White and Jones against Jammer and Cason with Ryan throwing to them and ugly things happen.

| The Chargers got lucky that our snapper got injured, Sunday showed what we can really do.
I've got the difficult job of separating the Seahawks and Packers fans at training tonight, oh boy that's going to be fun.

If you managed to move the ball at all in the 2nd half you may've been in a position to challenge rather than having to punt on every possesion

| Haven't watched the game yet but we were completely robbed on that call (which I have seen).
How on earth do you miss as shove in the back - not a gentle push - a straight shove and then mess up when Jennings clearly has an INT.
That said why on earth did Jennings go for the INT rather than just knocking it down.
Next week is now a huge game for us. If we can get out of a dificult October 2-2 then we can build on it. I expect offence to absolutely destroy the Saints next week given how they have been playing on defence this year.
