Yeah but the players you created those chances for get different kinds of chances. Ronaldo's pace, skill and aerial ability earned him plenty of chances, same with Berba although he doesn't have the pace, but he certainly has strength and ability in the air, he also brings the ability to hold up the ball and create from deep.
Owen's just a finisher, I think a side like United should look for something more. |

 To be honest, if we're going to sign a striker, he doesn't have to be a massive name, just a young lad who can lead the line on his own. N'Gog has potential to be that player, but hasn't shown enough to be relied upon as a regular back up to Torres.

IF fit Owen will score more than Tevez did, which is a bonus. However, the risk is he'll end up been best mates with Brown, Neville and Hargreaves. Still, on a pay-as-you-play deal, it is a risk worth taking IMO. He's still got bags on skill/goals and a few years left in him.
Glazer needs to stop been a c*nt and spend some money on another player. Silva would be perfect, not that I'm gunna hold my breath mind...

So basically, what you are saying is that they have Robinho, as the rest are all as injury prone as Owen / $hit.
