In 1935 The Dragon Slayers as they were known defeated Canterbury bulldogs 91-6, which is still the biggest win in the Club's History. In 1907, the St George district had a club in the Sydney rugby union competition. Interestingly, the team's area was referred to as the 'Illawarra suburbs'. A resolution to form a St George rugby league club was made at a local meeting held in early 1908, but the movement faltered and collapsed. St George, wearing the district colours of red and white, played in the NSWRL's Third Grade competition in 1910, and formed a President's Cup team in 1911. HTF does Simon Shaw get in a Lions touring party? Hugely overrated, massive discipline issues that the Boks will work on both with the referees in the media before games and in provoking him out on the field.
Says a lot for the quality of the game in the northern hemisphere. I've a lot of time for Geech, but I can see this tour ending in a real disaster results wise.

I disagree i believe the Lions will have a successful tour and i can even see a British Lions whitewash on the cards... |

I don't know which cards you're looking at, but I suggest you change them.
The Lions have picked a one-dimensional squad to play 10 man rugby. That simply won't be good enough - watch some the of Tri Nations or Super 14 games, the speed and handling skills of the Boks will kill you if you keep hoofing ball down their throat. |
