| Has any team [iever[/i been found guilty of fielding an understrength team? What sanctions are there - probably a fine at most.
Those concerned should stop whining, and concentrate on winning their own games, if they are capable. They should have thought about this in the previous 37 games - now it's eggs in one basket.  |

Rather oddly, the Football League actually has a habit of fining teams for fielding understrength teams in the prestigious Johnstone's Paints Trophy.
A few years back Shorpe were fined for doing so in a game against Bradford City after Colin Todd kicked off about it after the game, considering Scunny's understrength team actually beat our full strength team you'd have thought he'd have kept quiet about it! |

I thought that teams could no longer be fined for fielding understrength teams. The FA and Premier League were advised that, following the expansion of the CL and the international programme, the resting of players could be justified on H&S grounds.
