You had a bad experience there mate?

Yeah, it was terrible. It was a few months ago and I can't even remember the circumstances. I was at a club, somewhere like Arsenal and doing really well, turning them from near relegation to champions. Then I was sacked after the club was taken over. I went somewhere else, can't really remember where and the same thing happened again. I haven't played the game since, I felt sick about it for weeks, like I'd been stabbed in the back.
I'll get it updated and start again tonight.

| Bit of a disastrous start to my Tottenham career to be honest. First 5 games of the season haven't got particularly well, although i couldn't have started the season much harder.
Arsenal 2 - 1 Tottenham.
I had Gago sent off after 36 minutes, and wa 2 down after 14 minutes, so in the end not all that bad of a result, but a loss.
Tottenham 1 - 1 Man United.
Played well, but went 1 goal down with only 10 minutes to go, Pavlyuchenko score a last mintue equaliser. Good result.
Tottenham 2 - 2 Nottingham Forrest (Tottenham win 6-5 on pens - League Cup).
Due to all the injuries i rested a few players for this game but the team that started were still good enough to win the game. Went 2 goals down in the first half, so i brought Modric and Defoe on for the second half, followed by Pavlyuchenko and managed to drag it back to 2-2, won on pens.
Tottenham 1 - 0 Portsmouth.
Rubbish performance, scored a late goal to just about win the game, a draw would have been a fair result.
Hull City 2 - 1 Tottenham.
Disaster happened here. On previous games i don't put a keeper on the bench, however for this season i have been doing with Cudicini. However, Gomes picked up an injury on international duty, only a small injury and probably could have played but i chose to rest him. Cudicini started the game and got injured in the 30th minute, when we were already 1-0 down, as Hull scored early. I had to put King in net, and we scored a penalty but then Hull scored a late winner, under the circumstances not bad, but games that we can't afford to lose. And now, just because King had to play the rest of the game in net, he is saying he isn't happy about the position hes been asked to play, how ridiculous.
Not a brilliant start, but a tough start especially the first two games, so hopefully we start to pick up, also starting to get some body's back.

| Squad has changed again at Madrid, four new signings in important positions. Start of 6th season.
Will post new squad tomorrow, as I'm in work at 7 and really should get myself to bed.
The fixture list hasn't been too kind, was hoping for the first 6/8 weeks to be easy games to help the new lads gel in together. In the first 6 games, we had very strong looking Atletico and Barca sides at home, drawing 0-0 against Atletico and going down 1-0 against Barca, due to a terrible Ramos backpass at our end leaving Bojan an almost open goal and our finishing being awful up the top end. Sitting second on 13 points after 6 games, one behind at Aletico, one in front of Barca who have a game in hand.
Tweaking my player roles/duties slightly to try and help these new lads adapt a bit quicker.

| Got bored down under and took over at Nott'm Forest when they were languishing in 23rd in the Championship. Got them upto 14th at the end of the season without buying any players apart from a young loanee centre half as back up.
Will look for a couple of new players and try and push for the play offs next year. Any ideas on who to sign?

| Had started the 2014/15 season well at Spurs until I was thumped 4-1 by Man Utd (three late goals really but they deserved the win) and then lost in the last min away to Fiorentina in the CL. Should still get out the group though.
Side looks like this:
Ochoa (Akinfeev signed from Moscow for £5m but only arrives in Jan)
Behrami
Kacar
Godin
Bassong
Lennon
Palacios/Huddlestone
Gago
Bale
Berbatov/Crouch
Odamelek (regen) - Czech International aged about 21 and cost me £22m from Newcastle.

| I started a new game with Bristol City putting the database to start the game in February 2010.
They were 14th by that time so I brought in 11 players on free transfers (including Marcus Bent, Joe Cole, and Marlon Harewood) and pushed them up to 8th only missing out on the playoffs by 1 point.
I have continued my rebuilding for the start of this season with 10 more players mostly with free transfers, including bringing in Thierry Henry on a free. I sold 20 players for £3.1 Million and released a couple at the end of their contracts like Lee Trundle. Changed all of my coaching, scouting, physio staff.
Now played 5, won 3, drawn 1, lost 1 and in 4th place.

Yes I was shocked that I got them as well Joe Cole only wanted £11,500 per week and Henry £11,000, I'm under my wage budget by £63,000 per week.
Joe Cole was going brilliant until he fractured his ribs so is out for another 5 weeks, Henry has scored 5 in 13 but it's assists where he's shinning with 9. So Marcus Bent is benefiting with 13 goals in 15.
I didn't have a parent team but I've just got Arsenal, so might get some good youngsters on loan from them.

| Boro have offered £5M for Joe Cole, which the Chairman has said is too good to refuse.
Bad to lose him but at least I'm top of the league by 2 points and clear of 3rd by 12 points with 17 games to go.

| I still can't believe Joe Cole or Henry would choose your lot, were there not lots of top level clubs home and abroad after them both.

I find it hard to believe that Cole would take £11,500 pw! And Henry for that matter.

| Just one of those weird lucky things that can sometimes happen in Football Manager. I don't know if me being set as a former footballer helped in anyway though. It's still been hard to attract players and when I have they've sometimes signed for other clubs instead.
I've won the Championship in my 2nd season, now to rebuild again for the Premiership lots of scouting is going to be required along with trying to grab some bargains. I usually buy loads of youngsters but experience really helped this time.
