It wasn't the greatest IMO.
Taker / Michaels and Hardys apart, most of the other matches weren't that great.
To say it was the 25th Anniversary I was expecting much greater things.

Was scary to watch.
The fans started cheering with relief when he started to move.

| On watching it through it felt rushed in the early parts. Steamboat, UTvHBK & Austin stood out as big moments. Kid Rock & the Diva's was a mess & should have been replaced with the tag title match (which by all accounts was fantastic.
But watching it through again tonight the MITB match was outstanding. Kofi was amazing.
Some of the other bumps in the card were unbeleivable. Hardy from the ladder, Cena leg drop to the floor, taker into the camera guy (how he carried on I've no idea). Good PPV, not the best but better 2nd time around.

One star for me though of the whole show - Ricky Steamboat. What a performance.'"
Bob on.
For a man of his age he looked in good shape and was awesome.

Did you order it and watch it through wwe.com to see that? I was really looking forward to the tag match and this was the first PPV I bought since Royal Rumble 05 so was pretty gutted when it got to Michaels vs Taker and I realised it must have been pulled. Do they often drop matches last minute at PPVs?

I thought he was great. I read an interview with him the other week and he said he thinks he will be able to perform at about 80% of what he used to, I actually laughed at the time and thought he must be way off after seeing videos of other guys from his era.

They obviously haven't seen that many.
Watching it again, the Kid Rock-Divas was obviously so that Santino could get into the ring undetected. Kid Rock's performance was flat for me, though, too.
Was a bit unhappy about the Tag match being dropped to a dark match; seems a waste of the television time they dedicated to promoting it.
Christian definately won the popularity contest that was the MITB, I'm not sure they can go too much longer without giving him a big push.

| I thought Undertaker v HBK was the standout match - it was everything it promised to be and I really enjoyed it.
Not sure where people are coming from saying MITB was poor, it did seem a little rushed but overall it was a really entertaining match.
Santina was comical. JBL got his just desserts. Cena's FU (or whatever it's called now) on Big Show was impressive.
The only disappointment really was HHH v Orton which I don't think lived up to the hype at all and was a pretty poor main event - that said I was getting quite tired at that point so may have dozed at key moments!

watching the replay last night trying to work out who all the divas(pervingo n miss jackie ) were since they didn't bother introducing them so i was paying attention as they were strutting past bob ritchie. They cut from a front on shot up the gangway to a pointless wide shot of the entrance set and i said to my missus, they've done that to get santino through without tv viewers spotting him.
Ps i think jackie now has brown hair
