It's clear from that he hates the English, English football and anyone who has ever even thought of England or seen it on the map.
The evidence is overwhelming that the ref at Stamford Bridge acted on Platini's personal instruction (they are both foreign don't you know) and the same will happen in Rome.
I am so outraged I am stamping my feet and everything.'"

A bit, put Waterloo Road on for a bit as well, though. Started off well but faded. Bremen missed Diego so much, they're going to have to find somebody special to replace him next season.
I thought Shakhtar looked very impressive, although they lacked the end product required at times. They looked full of speed, flair and movement, but when they got in the positions that final ball was really missed.

| Platini's aims are correct, I am all for seeing most of Europe being on a level playing field, but the way he goes about things is wrong. He always seems to moan at the English, or have a pop at the English, you would think we're the only sides with foreign players, the only sides in debt, the only sides with foreign owners and the only league that's regularly dominated by the same sides, we're not, but how often do you see Platini ranting about La Liga? Why did he have to have a moan at Man City for offering silly money for Kaka, yet when Ronaldo was linked with Real he said something about it being a good move for him and Real being a great club.
It just amazes me that he usually moans at the English above any others, but we see similar things across Europe yet he doesn't seem to moan at them half as much.

Not to mention Darren and Marcus Bent. Nearly as bad as Ed Balls. I'd have to change my name.

Yeah I did. I don't [ithink[/i I've missed a UEFA Cup game that's been televised. I probably have missed one of the earlier kick off games.
Shakhtar played really well. I thought Wiese should have saved the winning goal though. Beglin was doing my head in. He kept saying that it was hit well. But it really wasn't. It just had alot of spin on it and with the pitch being wet it slipped by him.

Agree with this analysis of the match, decent game but its a shame Diego has to miss it. One of the best players outside the "Big 3" leagues.
What do you reckon to Srna as a potential Liverpool signing Robbie? We need a top class right back, and I don't think he'd cost much more than Glen Johnson. Always impressed me every time I've seen him play, reminds me of Dani Alves.

| Quote: "Few things can serve as a boost to popularity quite like injustice. A perception of unfair treatment can soften criticism and convert neutrals to a cause. Just occasionally, however, the opposite can happen. The persecuted can find themselves with still fewer friends.
Just ask Chelsea. There has been no outpouring of goodwill towards them after their Champions League exit, despite the likelihood that with a different referee, they would have beaten Barcelona. Instead, a dislike of them has been crystallised.
For that, of course, some players must take responsibility. Michael Ballack should be familiar with the concept of schadenfreude and, by haranguing the Norwegian official Tom Henning Ovrebo, his actions led to many savouring Chelsea's misfortune. So, too, did the self-pitying, self-destructive Didier Drogba.
Yet the consequence is that the two things Chelsea appear unable to win are the Champions League and the battle for hearts and minds. While Roman Abramovich may have long dreamt of fashioning a club to rival Real Madrid, Barcelona and Manchester United for glamour and worldwide support, there is a more relevant comparison for Chelsea, given their current place in the football firmament

| Got this from another forum,
Celtic fan signs up on a Rangers forum, makes a couple of posts and no-one is any the wiser he's a Celtic fan.
Then he makes a thread saying
"If you want tickets for next week's title decider away to Dundee United, read here...
Since the away allocation for Rangers fans of 5000 is long sold out. Tickets for the home end is the only solution.
But as we all know, if you're not on Dundee United's official club/supporter database then you won't even be able to buy tickets for the home end.
Here's what to do..
Phone up the club shop. And ask to buy a pair of Dundee United kit socks. Don't even mention tickets for Sunday. They will become suspicious.
Then when they take your sock order, personal details and process your payment your details will then be stored on their system.
Give it a few hours until there's a shift change, phone up again and order your home tickets for the Rangers match and because of your sock order, you will be on their system and you will get your match tickets. It's perfect lads."
Turns out, there's no such database and all these Rangers fans have ended up with hundreds of pairs of Dundee United socks and no match tickets.
