| Great finish by Mosley, and it wasnt a memorable fight up till then. But im sure he's performed a lot worse in his career and he looks in top shape still so he's got plenty left in the tank.
Carl Froch claims to be at last, facing a creditable unbeaten opponent in Jean Pascal for Calzaghes WBC belt.Ive just checked his record 21-0 (14ko) but ive never heard of the people he's beat and has fought just once outside of Canada. But i'd never heard of Breidis Prescott till a few weeks ago!

In 1935 The Dragon Slayers as they were known defeated Canterbury bulldogs 91-6, which is still the biggest win in the Club's History. In 1907, the St George district had a club in the Sydney rugby union competition. Interestingly, the team's area was referred to as the 'Illawarra suburbs'. A resolution to form a St George rugby league club was made at a local meeting held in early 1908, but the movement faltered and collapsed. St George, wearing the district colours of red and white, played in the NSWRL's Third Grade competition in 1910, and formed a President's Cup team in 1911. References were found at the time to district teams being called 'The Saints'.the perfect 11

| Big fight for Kelly Pavlik tomorrow against Bernard Hopkins. He's known for his power, but alot of people have said he's a bit one dimensional. Hopkins is brilliant defensively and he's the master of spoiling an opponent's offence. I think Pavlik will win by decision for pure workrate in the end, but Pavlik will have to be good early on. The earlier he susses Hopkins out, the better.

| Hopkins has been there, done it and got the t-shirt. On this occasion though I really fancy the heavy handed Pavlik to have the final word.
He's got too much for Hopkins IMO at this stage of Hopkin's career and I'm backing Pavlik to knock him out (5/2), really looking forward to this one.

He looked a bit confused by Floyd's techniques. I hope he learns quickly and doesn't get flustered come November 22nd.

If Pavlik does knock Hopkins out, then I think he'll prove to everyone that he is the real deal. Calzaghe cannot duck him IMO if Pavlik records a KO tonight. Calzaghe has to have one more fight after Jones against Pavlik and cement his legacy.

| I guess Pavlik v Calzaghes down the pan then! Was the step up in weight too much or is he just not as good as made out,or just a bad day at the office?

| Hopkins was brilliant. Pavlik was just never in it and was unable to land any decent punches or combinations. He needs to step down in weight because he's able to bully some fighters at middleweight. He looked like the smaller man to be honest and whilst I don't think that was the main reason for his loss, it didn't help him. Hopkins has surprised everyone with that, it looked like he had a serious point to prove after his recent loss to Joe.
Hopkins v Calzaghe II or Hopkins v Jones II next summer?

| Pavlik couldn’t carry the weight. I thought he was sluggish against Taylor at Super-Middle.

| Hopkins has always been known for his ability to spoil, but I've always thought his offence has been very under rated for a while, his foot work, hand speed and accuracy are top class, infact its unbelievable when you think he's 43! The fast last night was one of the most one sided I've seen in a while, Hopkins gave Pavlik a boxing lesson.
Pavlik just looked like he didn't want to be there he looked slow and uninterested, the fight definatly proved that he isn't ready to face someone of Hopinks' class at super-middleweight. An it will probably prove to be a blessing because if he fought Calzaghe he'd get another lesson IMO.

| Couldn't have called that one more wrong if I'd tried, got my fingers badly burned aswell!
Can't take anything away from Hopkins though, It#s the best I've seen him for a while and it was almost as though he had a point to prove.
Pavlik, I'm not sure whether it was just a bad day at the office, just being outclassed, or struggling at that weight? Out of the 3 I'd go for the weight more than anything else, but will be interested to see where he goes from here.

"I tried to fight him like I was sparring with him, because he don't know how to box. First fight, second fight, third fight, he don't know how to box . . . just walk up going bang, bang, bang.
"After the fifth round he was puffing like a cow. He was so tired I had to hold him up."
