Another good win yesterday highlights being Papi knocking one to centre and Bay going out of the ground.

1.5 games back now, need Baltimore to shake them Yanks down though, on a serious roll.

I knew it would be down to us to kick start Papi's season. I don't mind so much, I do like Papi.

Young Brett Cecil definitely got his welcome to the big leagues last night - OUCH!

Can't help but but think the sweep is inevitable now with yet another Rookie going tonight. Wonder if Cito will jiggle the rotation a bit for next weekend. We've got Thursday off which might mean Richmond gets pushed to the Friday. Depending on how Ray goes tonight he could skip Cecil and go straight to Ray for the Sunday game.

Wish our bats would wake up but I suppose a quiet patch was inevitable. Everyone else seems to have had one. Just a shame ours had to come in Boston!

Well I was right about the sweep. We had plenty of hits but couldn't string enough together to get the runs. Time to put Boston behind us and see what we can get out of Atlanta.

Ive not seen much of his recovery to be honest, if he is coming back then he must have been recovering well and pitching well.

Must be my lucky day today as my favourite pitcher Casey Janssen also got called up from AAA. Hopefully I'll get to see him pitch against the Red Sox next weekend. Romero is also back next week, with Ray and Cecil both sent back down to AAA.
