Jericho is done with wrestling for now.
HHH is due back at the Royal Rumble

|
| Jericho's just having another break AFAIK, e.g. to do side-projects like tour with Fozzy. Back by the Rumble or Mania at the latest I would bet.

| Not the best Raw last night.
They set up matches for The Miz and Orton where both would face former World Champions.
Miz got Rey Mysterio. And Orton got......David Arquette
Oh, and after his absence of, oooh a good 5 minutes due to his sacking, Cena is now rehired.

| I at least expected them to go along with the Cena firing for a little longer than 3 weeks. Could have even used the Juan Cena gimmick on raw for a while. (similar to when they used Mr America on Hogan when he was supposed to be fired)
All in all Raw was poor last night and just seemed to be a filler show as they run out of ideas before TLC. One match was a double DQ and the Barrett count out was just lazy booking.

But it's the show before a PPV, the idea of that sort of show is to build final interest for the PPV. All in all it was a wasted show. Seems that the whole Slammy thing is just for the WWE writers to slap themselves on the back for coming up with stupid ideas

| Got the new PowerSlam magazine last night. Apparantly WWE are producing a 'Top 50 Superstars of All-Time' DVD. Don't know why they even bother with crap like this - it's so biased and false it's untrue, e.g. based on preference rather then reality. Hulk Hogan is still the biggest name (Superstar) in the history of pro-wrestling, and there will never be anyone bigger. Surprise surprise though on this DVD he is behind the likes of John Cena and HHH. As much as I love WWE they really are a joke sometimes.

| Those WWE DVD's are always revisionist histories.
If you're currently in favour at WWE hq then they'll make you look better than those who
aren't on happy terms.
On a sadder note, Juan Cena has been released by WWE according to John Cena's twitter.

Apparently on a recent poll on WWE.com Hogan came in at #26 on the 50 greatest of all time. Bit silly really. Did you also see the top 25 managers of all time? Jim Cornette and Paul E. Dangerously didn't make the cut.

| That's because the average age of the respondents to those sorts of online polls will probably be late teens to early 20s.
If you're 20 years old now, and let's say you've been watching (and remembering) wrestling for 10-15 years, what will you have seen of Hogan? The stiff, arthritic old guy with one catchphrase and two moves. Same goes for Flair.

The have the dvd as 'The 50 Greatest WWE Superstars of the Last 15 years'. Because WWE covers about what? 60-70 years of stars? Buddy Rogers, Bruno Sammartino et al were all potentially bigger 'Superstars' than say The Miz.

| my top 10 would be:
Bobby 'The Brain' Heenan
James E. Cornette
Sherri Martel
Fred Blassie
Mr. Fuji
Paul E. Dangerously
Jimmy Hart
JJ Dillon
Lou Albano
Virgil
While i'm at it. Top 10 WWE Superstars:
Steve Austin
Hulk Hogan
The Rock
Shawn Michaels
The Undertaker
Bret Hart
Roddy Piper
Bruno Sammartino
Andre the Giant
