Well done Latics for securing mediocrity for another season. The way soccer works now is every season they will be in a relegation dog fight until either, they go down, or a multi billionaire comes in and buys them. Not a dig at Latics, just soccer in general. And I hope, as much as I want RL to grow, hope it never grows as big as football because the size of our sport is another reason why I like it so much.

The season we nearly went down is a season we'd like to forget.

All I can say, is all these people congratulating them, visit cockneylatic.co.uk and please read some of the rugby threads and what they say about us. Then come back on here and congratulate them.

Who gives a flying toss what they say about us? Some people on here are acting as if they're back in school. "Sir, Sir, cockneylatic are being mean, and pulling my hair!" How about we all grow the feck up and revel in the fact that we've got two teams operating in the top flight of professional sport?
