Not too impressed that he's gone to Sunderland mind, could have done better than that!

B[io[/illocks. Where could he have gone better than Sunderland, where he'll play regularly and they're willing to pay the fee?

Oh for crying out loud, for all your inane ramblings regarding the 'superioty' of Liverpool's back four, and the fact that Benitez was 'interested' albeit at a ridiculous low price for him, Liverpool's defence is so dodgy you could park a bus between the space of your two central defenders against Bolton.
Why do you have a personal agenda against him? Why don't you rate him?
No wonder the Premiership is full of cheap, half baked foreigners because whenever a League One player makes it to there, he gets ripped because he's English!
If Sunderland play him every game (which is doubtful as they have just signed yet another foreigner on loan) I won't begrudge it. Brentford will be rubbing their hands too.

I think he's an average player pal, no agenda against him, just don't get why everybody thinks he's the messiah and he's good enough for the top sides in England.
If Turner came to us he'd have been our fourth choice defender, he'd have been a practical panic buy as Agger's injured and wouldn't be needed once Agger regains fitness. Name a side better than Sunderland where he'll play regularly.

Not at the current table but I thought Everton, Villa or even Arsenal need strengthening in defence.
If he goes for 9million and we only get around 7 as Brentford get a cut of it. That is poor buisness for a key player at Hull City. I mean, who can they replace him with in a day?

He'd be a squad player for Everton, Villa or Arsenal, but he wouldn't get a regular game.
Hull's business this window has been woeful. What on earth is going on.

He isn't good enough to play for any of those clubs.

To be fair, Altidore was a good find and Ghilas is decent at 1million but Benjani? Paul Mcshane? - Don't exactly get the fans excited.
I would have thought we'd have stayed up this year relatively comfortable having kept Turner and having Bullard back next month but this selling has really put doubt in it.
It doesn't make sense, not once has Turner come out and said he wants to leave, we are one of a few clubs in the black and don't have money trouble.
What's a 9 million transfer to the money a club gets when they stay up?
It shows a lack of ambition big time.

Appartently if/when he accepts the contract offer from Sunderland, the fee is going to be around £9m, bit disapointed about that tbh we should have been looking for atleast £12m.
Still good luck to the lad hes a City legend not many players get 3 POTY awards on the trot.
Not sure Sunderland is right move for his career tho he could have done alot better than that as they will be in the bottom half again.
Bit ironic that his first Sunderland game could be against us ( although i think we will put a clause in his contract saying he cant play in that game )

Steven Taylor's been lined up as Turner's replacement.

Young has played centre back a number of times. I rate Curtis Davies and has come through from the lower leagues like Turner who is just as good as Davies if not better id take Turner over Davies. And Cuellar cant judge as ive not really seen him TBH
