| Quote: Red Red Robin "I bought this game last month and after a failed attempt at keeping Hull in the Premier League and being sacked as a result I decided to start a new game. After debating what to do I have decided to try to restore Ajax to their former European glories.'"
It shouldn't be too hard for you to dominate in Holland, but dominating the top tier of Europe could be a challenge. I'd say your best bet is finding the highest PA youngsters on the game, getting them in early and building a strong core to the team. I'd probably sacrifice stop-gap players for younger players, even if they aren't as good, because they should be better eventually.
What are the rules with regards to foreign players in Holland? Dinamo Zagreb have some top players who'd do really well at Ajax, especially Badelj. Have you managed to keep hold of Suarez?

| Amazingly won the treble with Southampton, as well as losing in the league cup final. Beat Man City in the Champions League final and beat West Ham in the FA cup final, i also won the Premiership on the last day of the season, due to Chelsea losing 1-0 away to derby, and i won at home. Another pre-season to come, but i have a very young side now, that are all coming into there prime, so a few older players will be allowed to leave the club, and i will look to bring in one or two top quality players.
Sometimes when jobs become available, it won't allow me to 'apply for job', anyone know why? (Usually happens with international jobs, and occasionally with clubs).

Quality achievement
Trying to do something similiar with Notts Forest, in 12/13 season, 1st in the Premiership, having won the League Cup the previous year. Got a few wonderkids, the defence is shakey however having Mark Beevers and Joe Mattock in the defence! For a potential title winning team! :O
Just qualified for the 2nd stage of the Europa League too, and have Coventry at home in the F.A Cup.
It's just a shame my finances are always dire, currently 5 Million in debt (Largely due to monthly installments) and the previous year I had no choice but to sell Leo for 34.5 Million to Aston Villa!
Notice Newcastle and Fulham have been tookover by random wealthy backers, has anyone playing as a human game obviously been tookover by a sugar daddy?

I didn't get took over at Southampton, but they give me a lot of money to spend each season, and as soon as i get into any debt, they come along and just give me what ever to make sure i'm always £30million in the black. I didn't have money starting off though, only since i've been in the premiership, although i've sold a lot of players and generated money myself, but the board have been giving me about £60-70million a year to spend, and then after winning everything but the league cup last season, they gave me £100million to spend. I haven't been took over though, nor did i know that i would be getting this money when i started off as Southampton, like i say, it was only really in my premiership season they started to boost my transfer, just rewards i suppose.
09/10 season - Promotion (Champions of League 1 - despite starting on -10 points)
10/11 season - Promotion (Runners up to West Brom)
11/12 season - Finished 10th in the Premiership
12/13 season - Finished 4th
13/14 season - Premiership champions and League Cup winners
14/15 season - Premiership champions, FA cup winners and Champions winners (and league cup finalists)
Just started next season now, having won the Charity shield, beating Man City.

| I've also just took over the Brazil job. Was ranked 25th in the world, but then when i took over, they were half way through the Copa America (i don't know why there manager was sacked as they were unbeaten), so i took over his team really and won the copa America and then Brazil jumped to number 10 in the world. Also beat Wals in a friendly 4-0. I find the internationals a bit rubbish, might pack in soon, but we'll see.

That was the same with me, they hadn't even conceded a goal...

| Well I ended up losing in the WC final 4-3 AET to Argentina (I was missing Kaka, Robinho and Pato with injuries) so not too bad.
Signed Arshavin on a free (33 years old, but still quality) and I'm looking to bring in an extra striker just as a replacement, any suggestions?

| I've lost my taste for the game. Think it was a mistake to quit Bradford in favour of Chelsea. Admittedly when I took over it wasn't so much Chelsea FC as Chelsea Pensioners and due to poor league performances coupled with equally poor cup runs had left them in a bit of a state financially (£100 million in the red, yet I still got 40 mil for a transfer kitty).
I just think I've taken the easy option with going there.
So, I'm going to start again. Any suggestions of where to start?

Southampton.
-10 points to start with in league one, yet still possible to get into the premiership in two seasons time!

| I don't think this game is that realistic anymore. Went into the Champions League final against Real Madrid. 30mins into the game got the first goal and then i noticed something weird 5mins after the goal. The goalkeeper for Madrid had a bit of an English looking name. Odd i thought to myself as i hadn't noticed him play for them before and what happened to Casillas. I went to the squad screen to check this guy and found that it wasn't not their goalkeeper with the English sounding name. I normally have Ochoa in goal but had somehow managed to put Adam Johnson the left winger in there... I would of re-loaded, but thought i'd see what happened as he'd made a save and Madrid were missing a lot. The Score finished 4-2 to me with Johnson making 3 saves along the way against some of the best strikers in the game.
I'm sure the game is supposed to highlight when you accidently put an outfield player into goal

| Talking of CL games with Real Madrid. What I don't understand is why - when a player goes off for treatment to an injury - do your players not fill the void? I played Barca away in Europe, it's 0-0 and Pepe picks up a knock and needs to receive treatment, the moment he leaves the field, from that throw-in, they throw it to Xavi, who plays it to Ibra who is stood directly in the gaping hole where Pepe should be, he scored to put them ahead. Thankfully, I managed to pull it back and win 2-1, but where is the common sense? Sissoko or Ramos should have dropped into centre back, Kaka back into midfield and we should have been OK, or, even better, Pepe shouldn't have needed much treatment for an injury without an injury mark above his head.

Go abroad into a smaller league, maybe one of the Scandinavian ones.
Can always have the English and Scottish leagues running too so you can look for job offers from bigger clubs as you progress.

Australian A-League. They operate a salary cap and it's definitely a challenge.
Took me 4 years to take Wellington to the title then I jumped ship and took over at Rushden and Diamonds. Into League Two and just been promoted to League One after finishing second.
Know exactly what you mean about losing your appetite for the game, but doing it the hard way from the bottom has got me feeling like I did when I first got the game.
[iEdit-[/i Two seasons in League One, finishing 9th then 5th. Got to Play off final where we spanked QPR 4-2 so The Championship it is!!
The ground has been expanded... to 10,000 and I'm on a shoestring budget but a Brighton midfield cast off and a young Romanian striker who just won't stop scoring are doing the job.

| Well, I've started a new game and i've taken charge of Northwich Victoria.
Blue Square North with a minus 10 point start and no money for transfers and an £8k wage budget.
4 games in and I'm down to -1 point and my next win should get me out of the relegation zone. Starting to enjoy the game again
