It really does have a fair bit to do with the pitching. Linked to that, the manager will change players depending on who's pitching. Our manager wont play two of our lefty batters against lefty pitchers because they have a hard time with them. There's quite a bit of strategy and statistics involved. There's always an element of luck too, plus these teams play pretty much every day. Some days they perform better than others.

Do they have the same name as a Bradford side previously known as Northern????

Betting day to day is a minefield and 3-0 stretches (especially on the road) do not happen as often as you might expect. I guess things will settle down and the cream will rise to the top but hopefully not as I'm on a few outsiders to win their Divisions and hopefully one of them can go all the way.

After the All Star break is when the good teams really start to show up.

We play your lot this year. Looking forward to catching the Marlins for the first time. I'm even taking my mum as she's visiting at the time. It'll be her first ever baseball game (not sure she knows that yet!).

Looks like Cleveland are spoiling the party at the new Yankee Stadium. They're currently up 4-1, top of 7th. I just put on the radio coverage and can hear the boos already.
