Sky has Jets - Bears listed as their 530 game on Boxing Day. I'm confused; I thought they'd done away with live early games so they could bore everyone with RedZone?

Update. Looks like they've canned it, for this week at least

Fair play to Kirkwood, very honest comments. RedZone would be great as a second option if you don't fancy the main game, but I'd much rather watch Jets Bears than bits of about 10 other matches.

I'm not a fan of RedZone.

I haven`t seen one person on here that has liked it/wanted it only a few posters I know, the Patriots forum I go on has
thousands of posters and only 2/3 people said they were glad it was on and no-one has changed their mind after seeing it, so it`s not exactly a glowing reference to be fair. They should put it on the red button as an option or bin it altogether!

If they wanted to test it out they could have done it at the start of the season and not when theres loads of important games

Sky have Kirkwood and NFL UK over a barrel. They know very well that if they walked away tomorrow then nobody else would pick up the UK rights, other than maybe to an hour a week highlights package.

He'll say whatever it takes to keep them onside, even when they make ridiculous decisions like switching to Redzone at the business end of the season or cutting away from a live game and missing the winning touchdown.

The Bears champs of the NFC N,back where they belong.How fitting it was that the last play of Farves career see him face down on the floor after a sack from one of 'the monsters of the midway' I hated him for years but now I hope he retires before he does himself a serious injury.

He will play in the last game its bound to happen, if he doesn`t he will be back next year for another go

This years been one too many, but I think he even realises that now by the look of him before the game last night.

If it was me I would find it hard to give up playing the game I loved so I kind of admire him for that, sadly as I have said a few times over the years it looks like injury is going to stop him playing, I could see him playing in the last game and finishing with one last TD before he retires, I think he needs 2 more starts to get the career 300 aswell so he may play both if hes fit enough.

Either way hes been great to watch over the years, awesome player in his pomp

I absolutely loved RedZone because I like seeing all of the teams and getting the opportunity to see the action instantly, especially when a few games were having exciting endings. Far too often we've needed to wait ages to see highlights by then we know the score.

Also far fewer adverts, studio chat, fantasy league filler (god does that get boring) etc. due to there actually being action to show.

But I understand that people like seeing full games. So have RedZone as the main and a full match on red button or the other way around.

How many times must Sky get "Why isn't my team featured?" they then try to do something about that and people complain.

I can see us having to rely on the Bears to do us a favour in week 17. Lambeau is a very hard place to go and our confidence will be shot.

Alternatively we could play poorly coming out of an emotional loss where we played very well and you could be eager to prove yourselves after the biggest choke job of all time.

I think we deserve the edge (being at home + better performances lately) but i'm not confident at all.

It was quite refreshing to see people like Rolle and Eli take responsiblity for the loss and get behind Matt Dodge. No other QB in the league could have brought their team back against us apart from Vick(he carved us up with his running ability as we had them covered downfield) If we play like that on sunday then the Packers won't have a chance. But your secondary is alot better than the Eagirls and Eli won't be able to pick them aprt like he did sunday. I'd be concerned about Rodgers getting hit by the best pass rush in the NFL though. How has your line performed in recent weeks? The 49ers came back from 24 against us in 2003. It would be fun to end your season though. You an put put a big hole in our's but not quite end it.

P.S Better performances recently? Haven't you lost 3 out of 4 whilst we've won 3 out of 4? I still think you deserve the edge though.
