I'm a fan of Cotto so I was disappointed to see him lose, but Margarito is hard as nails and hit some huge bombs in the fight. Cotto apparently broke his nose in round two and as a result struggled to breath throughout the fight due to internal bleeding. He practically passed out at the end, so it was a great effort from him.
Margarito though, respect. You are one tough SOB.'"
Still not seen this fight, eventhough heard it was a bit of a belter. I need to have a look at thos one, especially with your write up I want to see it evenmore.

Nope - £15 or whatever it is to watch two relative nobodies? Not for me thanks.

I'm going to Manchester to watch it. Mainly cos a lad I went to school with is fighting earlier on the bill.

Agree with that. The guy obviously needs help, maybe a spell contemplating his actions will do him good, who knows?
As for Khan, not a chance. Hopefully it'll be on the radio and if so, I'll probably listen to it, but I wont be fussed if I miss it.

Go to a well known video site, type 'COTTO V MARGARITO' and click the 'date added' option. You'll see it further down the screen with 6 or 7 parts to it.

Not the worst undercard I've seen, some relatively interesting fights such as Matthew Macklin vs. Francis Cheka, Audley Harrison vs. George Arias, and of course the real marquee fight of the evening: Alex Arthur vs. Nicky Cook. Still, £15 is, well, £15. If Juan Diaz and Michael Katsidis was part of the bill, it would've been a far more attractive prospect.
Will make do with Munroe v Matirosian and UFC 88 instead.

| Floyd Mayweather Snr to train Ricky Hatton for the fight with Paulie Malignaggi in November.
A good acquistion in my opinion, will hopefully get him back to his best.

Something different for Ricky, can only be a good thing I would have thought.

| Awesome news for Ricky. Both Beard and Mayweather will not constantly use the body bag, they will coach pure boxing skills and combinations into Ricky and this could alter his style slightly. He realises his next fight is make or break and this step was needed. Great move!

Yes mate, I was in there and it was terrific pre-fight and the first 2-3 rounds. The noise level seemed to lower quite a bit though as I think the reality of the enormity of the task that Rick was facing was starting to sink in to people.
As disappointing as the outcome was though, I'm extemely glad that I can say I was there.
Bit gutted now at the upcoming one, as it looks as though I won't be able to make the trip.

Is this part of a plan? That Hatton [ireally[/i wants to fight Mayweather Jr. again?
