| Dosen't help my mood that Gary Cahill was again left out when a clearly unfit Ledley King was included.

| Quote: Enfield Exile "He hit Robinho just before he got the ball.
Beye is awful. I have formed my opinion on more than one tackle. Maybe someone should tell him what it means when the goalie shouts "goal-side" to him.
As for my opinions being laughable, you are the person who thinks that Danny Guthrie is a good player aren't you? I don't know if it was you, but were you teh individual who said that Barton is a defensive midfielder? Apologies if I am wrong re Barton.
If I want to talk to a sensible and intelligent Newcastle fan, I'll speak to 'oogazoo'.'"
Going by what you've said to me previously (when you tried to claim Michael Johnson was better than Anderson), I cannot take your opinion seriously as you clearly do not know Beye's strong and weak points.
Guthrie is a decent, tidy player. He has a lot to learn but plenty of time to do it. That's an opinion shared by a few people on here. As for Barton, don't know where that came from.
I couldn't care less to be honest. You've proven in the past on several occasions that your opinion has to be right, end of. If somebody doesn't agree, they don't understand football, blah blah. If I wanted to talk to a sensible and intelligent Man City fan, I'd speak to a tea towel.

Really impressed me this season has Cahill, very under-rated.

Thank you, Malc: |

| Quote: ash4hullfc "Going by what you've said to me previously (when you tried to claim Michael Johnson was better than Anderson), '"
Johnson is a class player. Shame he's only been fit for about 3 games in the last two years, mainly playing with an injury. Has more to his game than Anderson. How has Anderson performed this season? I'd have Darren Fletcher over Anderson.
Quote: ash4hullfc "I cannot take your opinion seriously as you clearly do not know Beye's strong and weak points.'"
He has no strong points. He's got no end product, cannot defend and is a poor decision-maker.
Quote: ash4hullfc "Guthrie is a decent, tidy player. He has a lot to learn but plenty of time to do it. That's an opinion shared by a few people on here. '"
IMO He's a Championship player, at best.
Quote: ash4hullfc "I couldn't care less to be honest. You've proven in the past on several occasions that your opinion has to be right, end of. '"
I am opinionated. So what? Debate sensibly, and I will respond in kind.
Quote: ash4hullfc "If somebody doesn't agree, they don't understand football, blah blah. '"
Apart from a few minutes ago, I cannot remember saying that. If I did say that, I was being was being 'ar$ey. Fair enough. However, it is probably in response to an equally ar$ey comment.
Quote: ash4hullfc "If I wanted to talk to a sensible and intelligent Man City fan, I'd speak to a tea towel.'"
Woudl a sensible person talk to a tea towel? I'd say someone with mental health problems might.

I suppose as opposed to Davies, at 23 Cahill still has time on his side.

Class player, based on...? Wayne Rooney is a class player, Xabi Alonso is a class player, Michael Johnson on the other hand...

Thanks for proving my point.
Quote: Enfield Exile "IMO He's a Championship player, at best.'"
Again, based on what? I'd hazard a guess that you've seen very little of him (less than 30 games).
Quote: Enfield Exile "I am opinionated. So what? Debate sensibly, and I will respond in kind. '"
When you realise your opinion isn't gospel, then it may be possible to have a debate. It's also easier to have a debate when you don't come out with bull comments, ala your reply above about Beye.
Quote: Enfield Exile "Apart from a few minutes ago, I cannot remember saying that. If I did say that, I was being was being 'ar$ey. Fair enough. However, it is probably in response to an equally ar$ey comment. '"
It's the way you come across, like when I questioned your claim Johnson was far better than Anderson. I was wrong because my view didn't meet yours.
Quote: Enfield Exile "Woudl a sensible person talk to a tea towel? I'd say someone with mental health problems might.'"
Talking to a tea towel would offer a lot more sensible comments than you do.

| Quote: Enfield Exile "I guess you don't know the basics of football then?
When tackling someone infront of you from the left hand side (right hand side) use your left (right) leg.
Easy innit.
Beye's gash and has no technique. Surely you can see that. Who knows, with him banned, you may have gone on to perform better and stopped yourself from getting relegated.'"
That bit about which leg you use to tackle is wrong. It depends on your stride, if you cannot afford to take another step, you have to tackle with whichever foot is free.
As for calling Beye gash, that is so far from the truth it's unreal.

Quote: "NEWCASTLE UNITED
Another club from the north-east deep in the relegation mire, but maybe the performances of Taylor, Martins and Butt have given Newcastle fans something to smile about during a traumatic season on Tyneside.
1. Steven Taylor
2. Obafemi Martins
3. Nicky Butt'"
Really struggling to understand how they've come up with those three.

1) Taylor because he made a couple of Carragher-esque blocks against Arsenal
2) Martins because he scored against Arsenal and you seem to do a lot better with him in the side than without
3) Butt because he's a former United player

I'd love to know his strengths. He's as clueless as he looks gormless.

| Quote: ash4hullfc "Class player, based on...? Wayne Rooney is a class player, Xabi Alonso is a class player, Michael Johnson on the other hand...'"
Based on him virtually single-handedly carrying a poor Prem team into the top 4 for half a season. Then when he got injured, the team went to pieces.
Quote: ash4hullfc "Again, based on what? I'd hazard a guess that you've seen very little of him (less than 30 games).'"
You don't need to watch 30 games to realise a player is poor. I like Bassong though.
If you need 30 games on which to base an opinion, then you can have no opinion of Michael Johnson. Have you actually seen Anderson play 30 times? I doubt it.
Quote: ash4hullfc "When you realise your opinion isn't gospel, then it may be possible to have a debate. It's also easier to have a debate when you don't come out with bull comments, ala your reply above about Beye.'"
Spot the hypocrisy in the above post.
Quote: ash4hullfc "It's the way you come across, like when I questioned your claim Johnson was far better than Anderson. I was wrong because my view didn't meet yours.'"
Your opinion may not have been wrong but the basis of your argument was inaccurate, thus I ridiculed you. You were not even aware of Johnson's trenths and waeknesses. How can I debate with someone who has a lack of knowledge about the subject?
Quote: ash4hullfc "Talking to a tea towel would offer a lot more sensible comments than you do.'"
Tell me of a comment made by a teatowel? Monty Pythonesque, I know but it highlights how childish your statement really is.
