1883.jpg Didn't William Webb Ellis pick up the ball and run, someone should really tell Rugby Union.

| Where there any non-ruuners, I want to collect my meagre returns. Does anybody know the SP for Neptune?

Lots, ranging from 20/1 to odds-on including a Gold Cup.
He's won a few Grand National's aswell, how many has McCoy won

| It's like saying if St Helens had won Super League since it's creation, and Leeds winning a Challenge Cup once in 13 years. "Leeds are a better team, because they have won a Challenge Cup".
There is no argument if you ask me.

| Walsh is the better jockey for the big event but he's had a few shockers at Cork, Downpatrick etc.
Paul Townend is the future of jockeys though. Him and Coleman.

Very very true, you cant go wrong lumping on Ruby to be top jock of the meeting he'll do the same at Aintree.
Agree that Coleman is also the future not sure about Townsend tho, he's had a few shockers on the Mullins horses.

| I think I was the only person at Cheltenham on Weapons Amnesty. Every little sheep cheering on Ruby's mount as it looked like it was going to get up but Russell drives his horse out to win - SILENCE

| Well done, Dave ! Silence really can be golden sometimes, eh?
I had a little anti-post nibble on Weapons Amnesty myself. Taking into account his previous form over 3 miles, and the trainer's excellent record in the race, I had him down as a "must bet".
I didn't have the privelege of cheering him on from trackside like yourself -I had to make do with watching on a portable telly from the tap room of a particularly ropey Bradford pub.
But he paid for my beer for the rest of the day, a takeaway curry, a taxi home, and a family sized box of Anadin next morning....so I'd guess I was nearly as happy with the result as you !

| Denman's not running again this season. You'll get used to it, Findlay talks so much rubbish it's unreal.
Kauto is the real champion

the price now looks good but @ 5/4 all that had to happen was for him to get trampled on when falling off tatanen and the game would be over
