I remember Tottenham winning 6 from 6 or thereabouts in pre-season about 2 years ago, including some big scalps like Roma. Then along came the season and they had 2 points from 8 games. Pre-Season means nowt really.

Of course it means nowt. I think Liverpool and Spurs do have the advantage of qualifiers early on in the season, they should raise sharpness a bit more. There's going to be a heavy World Cup hangover though. I guess Man Utd could be beneficiaries of that.
