Everton agreed a fee for Heitinga. I think he's pretty poor to be honest. Can play right and centre back so I can see why Moyes has gone for him. I don't rate him at centre back to be honest.
Didn't hear the proposed fee, they spent quite a bit on him Atletico so I can't see him coming cheap.

There is a massive difference between Arshavin avoiding a challenge and Eboue diving. Fletcher came sliding in, he anticipated him sliding in and taken a touch then rode the tackle well to avoid injury. When a player comes flying in like that, then it's more than fair that a player gets out of the way and anticipates the challenge. But when you're running next to a player and his foot is inches from clipping yours, diving on the floor despite there being no contact means the player is diving. Diving is mostly justified when there is contact, often said "he played for it", but when there's no contact and they go falling over onto their belly, there's no argument for it, it's a clear as day dive. |

£5 million apprently. He's not centre half but I think he will do a cracking job at right back, plus if needed he can cover in the centre but I'm happy with this one. |
