The best pundits for me are the ones that aren't on as often (with the exception of McManaman who I think is pretty good) - Souness is always sound and knowledgeable and David Platt also knows what he's on about.

I full agree r.e Souness, I actually think Jamie Carragher did a good job at the Man United v Chelsea game.

That's the only good thing about Jamie 'To be fair' Redknapp as a pundit.

In terms of insight, he's awful. In fact, I'd rather hear his missus's views* on football because Jamie Redknapp is clueless. This isn't a Liverpool thing - as noted above, Carragher is excellent on TV. Apparently he is an absolute boffin on football and it shows.
