| I'll be watching the Jays-ChiSox game tonight, hoping that Marcum picks up win number 2. Will have the Yankees-Redsox on the laptop so I can keep an eye on it. I predict that despite starting an hour later, our game will still finish before yours does

| Quote Ande="Ande"Red Sox vs Yankees starts again tonight
Beckett has had a tough start with a 6+ ERA so it should be interesting to see how the Yanks take him on
Buchholz has had a good start with plenty of K's so him vs CC should be a good game like.
Lester vs Burnett is the best looking game i think.
Can't wait to watch these games having missed the first few at the start of the season.'"
Ouch!

| Jays win in extra innings. We're 2nd in come from behind wins - WTF?
Another 2 HRs for John Buck and the game winer from Alex Gonzalez, who now has more HRs than he got the whole of last season. Jays jave won 6 straight, 5 on the road. We're all a bit baffled in Jaysland but we'll take it while it lasts. If last season is anything to go by, we should be imploading some time next week.
Another painful outting from Beckett I see. Hope he keeps that up for us next week. Maybe this time we'll out hit the Red Sox. Looks like he'll be up against Marcum, so that's definitely in our favour.

| No Beckett today. We're getting the fooking knuckleballer. My only hope of a win in Boston just went out the window Last year that barstard Wakefield messed up our hitters so badly we went on a 9 game slump. Here we go again!
...and don't get me started on our series against the Phillies getting moved to Philadelphia because of the G20 summit, taking away the Doc homecoming anfd pretty much the only game Jays fans had to look forward to this year. Apparently the organisation feels that it would be difficult for fans to get to the game due to all the security measures. So taking it to Philly makes it easier for fans to get to? FFS! Nothing to do with the extra security cost to the organisation or the fact that they can now hire out the RC for G20 activities for a shedload of cash while still picking up a share of the huge gates from Philadelphia. They must think that Jays fans are fecking stupid.

| Not saying anything me about the Reds. Cueto's one hitter last night was the first in a decade I think. Big stat for you here, the Reds are leading the NL with runners in scoring position with two outs on the board. Last year we couldn't bat them in with 0 outs so big change there. Very exciting season so far for us Reds fans.

| Wow - got out of Boston with a win thanks to some fantastic pitching from Marcum and to Lunchbox for figuring out how to hit a knuckleball. Oh, and apparently a dodgy thrid strike call on Big Papi. It was pretty much the only call we got in the 3 game series so boo-fooking-hoo Red Sox Nation.
Back home now to take on the Rangers and the Twins. Going to the game on Saturday, so hope to see RickyRo in good form on the mound for the Jays.

| Break out the brooms! We swept another team. On Friday we out-hit the Rangers in a 16-10 slugfest. On Saturday we out-pitched them, with Ricky-Ro getting his first complete game shut out - was a pleasure to watch that one in person. Then yesterday after a shakey start, Brandon Morrow got his together and the Jays bats continued to give the starting pitchers some run support, despite getting little production from the 2-3 spots. In fact, 10 of the 11 runs scored Sat/Sun were batted in from 6,7 & 8 in the batting order.

| Reds pass the Cards! Holy sweep! First in the NL in fielding average now. Still it's far too early to get carried away but there's still more to come from the Reds I think with Volquez due to come back in June/July and Chapman learning his trade in the minors. Hopefully BROOOOOOCE will flower as well this year.

From that we had four errors last night including two botched double players in the bottom of the ninth to blow a 9-3 lead (seven runs for the Braves in the ninth including a walk off grand slam), hence the reason why I didn't want to curse the Reds by getting excited. This must be how it feels to be a Warrington fan.

Are the reds going to win something then? In the past year Warrington have been more succesful than Saints? We get Granderson back next week, we may call up Horacio from the minors to cover for Jorge. You know the injuries are piling up when Ramiro Pena is playing right field.
