Your either extremely high on Cassell or extremely down on Cutler. I'm sure you'll change your mind if, as some rumours suggest, the Bears are interested in Cutler.
I've seen the rumours and I will admit he would be an upgrade on Orton but Marino would struggle to impress in our offence with the group of recievers we've got

McDaniels only prefers Cassell because A) he's an idiot B) he has coached him previously. If he was/is that in love with Cassell then he should offer Cutler to Kansas City for Cassell.

Brady was a late draft pick so that doesn't prove whose the better QB.The Patriots only wanted a 2nd round pick so they didn't have to pay another 1st round draft pick, you keep calling McDaniels an idiot but don't you think he wouldn't have been given the OC job at the Patriots unless he knew what he was doing.

Fair point about Brady but my point was if Cassell is so highly rated why didn't more people go in for him. The Patriots could easily have got a first rounder (at any stage in the first round) and then traded out for players (Julius Peppers) or traded for multiple picks in the 2nd and 3rd rounds. The fact is there wasn't the demand for Cassell so evidently teams like Chicago, Tampa, NYJ who need a QB didn't think he was worth any higher than the 34th pick. Cutler however would definately command potentially multiple first round picks.
I'm not quetioning his credentials as an OC but there is a world of difference between an OC and head coach. I think he will be out of Denver in under 2 years. He, evidently, doesn't have the people skills to deal with an entire team. Also there are examples of people that have excelled with Bellichek (spelt wrong?) and then gone on to be poor coaches. Eric Mangini, Charlie Weis, Romeo Crenell. I'm willing to bet before long McDaniels will be in that group.

| I don't like the Broncos, and despise Jay Cutler so I'm quite enjoying this circus in Denver. Cutlers opinion of himself is way higher than it should be. He believes the hype - when he was getting praised last season from all angles his form dipped and he blamed other people. Denver love him, and you can see why, he's a very talented player, but his ego has grown beyond belief.
Yes, McDaniels should've handled the situation better, but you would think that Cutler - this franchise QB we all speak of - would've handled things in a more mature manner.
I want him to go to the Lions - imagine the people he can blame for his losing record there. The dream would be Buffalo though - Cutler + T.O = b*tch fest!

| The Bronco's are now actively trying to trade Cutler. I hope he doesn't go to Clevland, I like Brady Quinn and don't want to see him in Denver. It does seem the best deal for them though.
I was looking forward to seeing Merriman pound the little cry baby this season, hopefully it can still happen at his new team!!

If they are trying to actively trade him then i still think Tampa is the best place and most likely. They will want him out of the division.
It depends who they want to replace Cutler really.

| I would not be surprised to see him go to Seattle for Hasselbeck and a swap of first rounders, then the Broncos can get Hasselbeck to groom their next QB of the future as well.

| I said Cutler was a cry baby at the start of all this and now the fact that he won't return phone calls to not just McDaniels but to the owner Pat Bowlen just show that I was correct and I pity the team that trades for the fool.

Clever stuff by Jay. Don't respond to them and hurry the situation up.
If we didn't have A-Rod i'd give anything to get Jay Cutler. As it is A-Rod is better.
