solwhit winning just about covered my bets on him, bog warrior, menorah, l15 n ppot. cleared out all my winnings from the first two days into my bank account and got 16 quid left to play with tomorrow, to put on a ppot, l15 and find a gold cup horse

think make your mark could be chucked in, decent claimer on and carrying bottom weight. wasnt disgraced in the neptune last year after being sent off a fairly warm price of 15/2 lost a lot of momentum when hampered, wouldntve troubled simonsig but wouldve ran a bit better had he not been so badly hampered. went off heavy odds on for his reappearance in ireland, drifted like a barge then played up a bit before the start, he was left to front run so his chances were done before the business end. got the run into him though and with the shrewd mullins yard he may well have had this as his target for a while. confident he will give us an honest run. taking the claimers at the top of the market into account he's pretty much carrying a stone less than top weight and there will be worse bets at shorter than 11/12-1.

glad my lumpy bets came in and the losers have just been l15's, free bets or few quids here and there.

the ground totally went against my first two in l15

rolling star didnt want it to be too testing and looked punch drunk on the run in. our conner looks tremendous though, if he handles the better ground he could be a potential star. theres always a reservation til they win a big one on it though, as he looks so good on soft ground.

ranjaan, well, nicholls said this morning in his column that ranjaan wanted the ground to keep drying. it didnt. it p*ssed down as soon as dinner time arrived.

next two in my l15 should like the ground.

gonna be stamina at an optimum going up that hill for me.

bobs worth has only ran once outside open company, is that enough?

sir des champs sometimes gets bogged down approaching fences on crap ground and can throw in howling errors. he springs them on good ground. AP is on, he likes to drive horses into fences. either gonna win or deck him IMO.
