| What a final.
Credit to Nadal, he is a great player who could well win Wimbeldon one day.
Well done to Roger. Legend.

Agreed.
Cracking final from Nadal, just a shame for him that he came up against the best grass player ever imo.
Well done Roger, fully deserved!
Surely he is now one of the best ever?
A true legend!

| Best 2 players in the world by a country mile
To win 5 in a row is a magnificent performance...wouldnt have beat Sampras in his prime though

got a fair way to go to overshadow my man pete yet
and federer is definitely up there with the all-time greats, as will Nadal very soon if he isnt already there...remember, he's only just turned 21 and won the french (hardest title to win) 3 times!

| Federer win what a great win. By far from his best and he can still beat the number 2 at his best. I can't see him losing on grass for a long time.

cant agree with that...they both played very well and it was federers turn this time...still got a losing record to rafa though

Well I am not going to argue with your point because we all have our own opinions. Nadal played as well as he could have and still couldn't win. I think Federer was really off his game in the 2nd 3rd and 4th set. But did it when it mattered and that makes a great Champion. Well done Federer.

fair enough points...i dont think nadal played as well as he could (those 2 games in the final set where he had federer at 15-40 spring to mind as do the 2 tie breaks) but federer stepped up when it really mattered and, as you say, that's the sign of a true champion...a bit like rafa did in the last 2 french open finals

| Brilliant Brilliant Federer!
After that fourth set many would have crumbled but he drag himself back and at 2 - 2 onwards played truly Champion tennis and is in my opinion the Greatest Tennis Player of All.
I think he will beat Nadal at Roland Garros next year to seal the Slam.

True but if it wasn't accurate then it may not have been accurate at other matches. It may have affected the outcome of certain matches
