Frankel to win by 5L or more with paddy power is a gift at 4/6, looks an absolute monster this year and, as long as tom rides him to the finish, should win by nearer to 10 IMO!

That has to be a bet fraught with danger and the sort of bet a bookie would be happy to lay win or lose.

The key bit is ride him out to the finish or even need to get him out of 2nd gear and definetly a race to watch rather than partake in whatever carrots the bookies try dangling infront of you.


The stats are that 5 times won buy under 5 lengths, twice exactly 5 and 4 times over 5 sort of confirming it is not a gold plated banker bet.

frankel seems much more settled down to get on with the job this year.

as well as being bigger and stronger, he has settled well in both races he's had this year, whereas last year he was trying to storm away after a furlong.

farhh will have to be a good miler to be better than excelebration, and frankel has spanked him twice this season by 11L at ascot and 5L in the lockinge, when he was in need of the run, had missed work and excelebration had the fitness advantage

backed yellow rosebud, probably would've won in another few strides, and had colour vision (3rd) and hawaafez in as well in an e/w patent, hawaafez just missed out for third.

coulda spat feathers when i seen the result of hawaafez's race, wild coco won after looking as if she didnt handle the track in the race last year or enjoy the ground, which was exactly the same today - only last year i backed her!

also chucked a quid e/w on the meehan horse in the first, looked interesting but lived up to his odds and finished last.

backed nahrain in the nassau, two very high class efforts at the back end of last year and nothing went right on her reappearance over a shorter trip than ideal at royal ascot.

had the best form in the race winning the prix opera and just losing out on the breeders cup race she ran in. deflating to see a horse that should be doing so much better finishing a laboured last.

my iffy run of late hit the buffers today thanks to an ew punt on hunters light and a bit more on certify, who defied missing the break and being very keen to settle and assert very pleasingly. excellent ride by silvestre the cat on hunters light, got first run when ransom note was nackered and was never gonna be pegged back.

dont do as much betting as i did, the onlune betting has had to be put to a stop as im after a mortgage and its seen as a risk!
