Free up some space for the backs. Broken field + Ben Foden + Chris Ashton = happy days.

What a one sided affair. I thought it was only rugby league that had such blowouts
Being serious, from what I saw the gap between the southern hemisphere (NZ and SA) and the north is getting wider.

'[iInjuries meant the Wallabies were forced to field their least experienced front row in 27 years, while star centre Matt Giteau was ruled out yesterday with a hip injury.
England have now not won a Test match south of the equator in 11 attempts since Johnson himself lifted the Rugby World Cup in Sydney seven years ago.
Johnson's record since being appointed England coach now shows just eight wins from 22 Tests - a worse return than his predecessors Brian Ashton and Andy Robinson.[/i'

It's time we got rid of him....he might have been a good player...but a coach?
The players deserve better.
I can remember a time when we won about 19 games on the trot.

Agree with you mate.
I think it's fantastic that England RU is doing so well esp Hape and Ashton.

| England's backs were embarrassing against Australia. The gap in class was immense. The only thing that stopped it being an absolute cricket score is the ability of sides in Union to stuff the ball up their jumper for minutes on end, and the importance of the scrum. I didn't even notice Hape on the field, and Ashton didn't look much either. Basically from what I saw England RU has the same sorts of problems as we have in RL - a few quality forwards and sweet FA outside them.

| More to do with Australia lacking a few first-choice front rowers through injury.
With a first choice pack available the Australians would have put 50 on England.
The England management throttled Danny Cipriani's international career at birth because he played off the cuff rugby and made a few mistakes, but at least he created opportunities for those around him. England's backline at the moment are too scared to make an error in case they get dropped, resulting in sterile forward dominated rugby which doesn't suit the likes of Foden, Ashton and others who should be in the side like Shane Geraghty.

But that's the history of English yawnion. Rob Andrew, 1,000 tests & 1 try says it all.
